First I think you guys are adorable, very real and down to earth people which is always appreciated.
The remodel looks great. My only suggestions are to change out the sofa to another type of sectional and add an area rug in the living area to break up the monotomy of the continuous hardwood flooring, it needs a visual break. Also I’d add an accent wall in the bedrooms, maybe some wallpaper on one wall that has Hawaiian vibes. The condo has great bones you just need to add some layers to make it more visually interesting. Great job! 😊
@VegGirlSF we had that very talk about an area rug by the blue couch! I wanted to have an area rug and Mike wanted more wood floor. We also discussed having an accent wall in the primary bedroom, but we were already so over budget that we couldn't get everything we wanted. Thank you for you input!
So thrilled to see your video of your completed remodel! We loved it and boy did you guys do a fantastic job with everything and the attention to detail.
I'm going to do Mikey D here and say my three favorite things are the flooring, the countertops, and the stair bannister. Love it!
The one thing I would change is I would add another tv credenza-same one- and push together like it is one piece. It would get it to scale to anchor that area properly.
I could live with the carpet in the bedroom, so I vote to keep and get some use out of it. I would consider grey berber for the new stuff since it seems the majority have spoken for replacing, lol.
As for the couch, a few quality throws would hide the fading, and adding some pillows with a nice print would be very nice. A trip to an upholstery shop would be a great way to match and do a high end custom look. Pulling in one or two additional colors would give it a designer touch. If you guys don't sew, enlist someone you know who can do it: pillows are easy. It will take the space to another level. I personally think the height of the back of the couches could not be more perfect where it meets under the windows! So I vote to keep the couches. Push them together in the center gap, allowing them to breathe from the walls.
I hope the suggestions are well received as I love decorating and hopefully get your creative juices flowing for finishing! We are so happy for you both. Cheers from SWFL!🎉
Thanks for the tips. I think the couch will stay for another year or so, and we are working on the pillows as camo!
Thanks for the tour...the whole condo looks lovely :)
My vote is to keep the carpet till it wears out, then replace with LVP. I admit I'm really biased against carpet (never really clean).
I'd replace the sofa with a more neutral gray or greige and add color with pillows/throws.
Thanks for sharing!!
Congratulations on your home, your new gorgeous partner in reality
Thank you!! 😊
Gotta go with the Mrs. on bedroom carpet. Couch I could go either way on- it shouldn’t be a priority. Staircase looks good with cables but it would have been stunning with glass panels as well. Great job!
Thank you!
Keep the carpet the warmer tone goes with the bed and if you do all gray, it’s very cold. I am a designer and I like the combination of cool and warm colors together. Also sell the couch and get another one. It’s six out like a sore thumb. And I would not get that color again. It’s too green for everything else that’s in there. Everything else is stunningly beautiful. You got so much square footage in a smaller condo. Love the woodwork and the marble ❤❤❤
That was it sticks out like a sore thumb
I was surprised that you kept all the blinds closed since whenever you do a showing all the windows and blinds are open so you can see outside.
Love the blackout blinds. Valance like balance with a B
On that the camera has trouble with the bright light outside and end up overcompensating and making the interior dark
Thanks!
Love it! Staircase # 1. Kitchen pullouts # 2!! #3 the blue/ green textured wall! I vote change the carpet. Maybe a throw blanket to help hide the faded couch??
Got a question for ya Mike. I was on island last week and we fell in love with a row of 6-9(?) oceanfront houses on the one end of Old Airport Beach behind the ball field. Do these EVER come up for sale?!! And do they all have pool? We could see the big one on the end did. LOVE these houses… I’m obsessed! Please do a video if one ever comes up for sale!
They do from time to time. Most but not all have a pool. The price is up there as you might imaging. I'd love to get in one of them for you guys!
Please tag me if you ever do! Thx for the response!!
Your remodel turned out amazing. Carpet looks good to me as is, but can be swapped out easily. Congrats to Lisa on her RE license, look forward to seeing both of you on your home tours. Take care
Looking forward to it!
The carpet in the primary bedroom would look good in a darker grey, similar to the blackout curtain or the hand towels hanging in the bathroom. The best bet is to go with whatever Lisa wants.
Always the safe bet. 😆
Great job! I am a big fan of pull out pantry drawers, and the color of the cabinets is perfect. amazing how much the blue wall and accessories bring so much beauty into the Living room. It was worth the long wait to be able to see the finished project. You really added quite a bit of value that will bode well for the future as well. Congratulations! I agree with Lisa on the change out of the bedroom carpet to grey.
Seems like the grey carpet is running away with it!
I'm a slow learner! 😭
Replace the couch. You can also put film on your windows that will block UV and protect the furniture and everything else. It's similar to what they use on cars but clear...
Good tip!
Sorry to make extra work for you two, but absolutely I would 100% agree to change the bedroom carpet to grey. 100% it will make the room pop. As for the rest, you’ve both done a stellar job with this remodel. It looks ace! That silken peacock coloured feature wall in the living room is gorgeous! All the best to you, Lisa and Mike! Enjoy! Congratulations to Lisa on her agents license! Oh and forgot to say the couch looks ok to me, maybe the fading wasn’t showing up on camera? 😅
Thanks so much! We are really happy with how it turned out. I noticed that the fading looked better on camera, but it's one of those strong colors where you can definitely see it.
Beautiful remodel. You updated the areas that really needed to be updated and kept the flow.
I agree with Lisa - change the carpets to grey. And also....your couch is really faded. Replace it with another one.
I've been looking forward to watching this particular video to see the final product. Kudos on a job well-done!
Got your vote!
Love your new renovation. Yes, to the grey carpet. Can see that looking really nice. Excellent job done guys well done.
Thanks so much! 😊We got your vote down!
Lovely remodel guys🎆 I love the oak used for the cabinetry everywhere…the stone is beautiful, although I thought you might go for the multi colored “Vangough” stone we saw at one of your listings….for the bedroom I would consider getting a large Persian style area rug, in like
Blue tones, lighter blue or green tones and
Just place it over your tan rug, underneath and around your bed and voila issue solved….for your teal couch, maybe a lot more
Pillows, enormous 🧸 stuffed animals to camouflage it further, or get it completely reupholstered, it’s a common thing here in the Caribbean…. I am sure there is an array of fabrics to choose from…I just bought some
In Walmart….decorating like anything that’s done in life, takes a little Practice, and practice and practice…as long as you absolutely love it that’s all that counts…great job!!! Lots of love and greetings to you all from the Caribbean 🌞🌴🐬🌺🐳😇🛸🍍🍹😽

Good tips! Thanks!
Thanks for sharing your home remodel, I have sure enjoyed listening to you show homes all over your island.
Glad you enjoyed it
Mike and Lisa, you guys really changed the whole “feel” of your condo! It shows like a large home.
Congratulations on a tasteful, comprehensive , and thoughtful remodel. Honestly, your NEW space has your elegance and care which must be the envy of all who visits your NEW home.
You guys can be so proud of your conpleted final product.
Thanks so much! We love it!
Excellent job guys! I love the counters, pretty amazing! Just keep the carpet, the wood floor in the bathroom really stands out against the gray walls, so the carpet eases the transition. Of course I am not a decorator!lol! BTW the roller cabinet shelves are a great choice! Good addition to your company! :)
We agree! I'm all about the drawers now.
Good job on that Mike and Lisa! Would vote to change the carpet. Love the marble counters 👍🏻
Thanks!!!
Omg such a beautiful home! Love everything, especially the Kitchen, just gorgeous! Honestly, I would leave the carpet the way it is. It’s neutral, and plush and looks great. Even though grey would be very pretty, I think this works well the way it is. Lots of best wishes and warm Aloha from Canada
Thank you so much!
Beautiful remodel throughout! I wouldn't worry about the carpet now. Just use it for a few years to get some use out of it and then replace it.
Thanks! Cute pup in your avatar!
Looks great 👍 😊
Thank you 👍
Congratulations on the renovation it looks amazing 🎉love the grey carpet idea - the beige is ok- the grey would be spectacular- and looking forward to seeing you guys working together that’s great! Congratulations Lisa ! Thanks so much for showing us your results Mike!
Love the channel!
Thanks so much! 😊
On a scale of 1 thru 10 I give your remodel a 10+++++ !! Great job . As far as the carpet goes I'm a strong carpet in the bedroom advocate . I feel a good carpet with a great padding is the secret . Ive seen people who will pay way over for a great carpet and then use the cheapest padding they can get . I like getting up and walking in my bedroom without the hardness of tile or vinyl flooring . That's just my 2.75 cents worth . Once again great great job on your remodel !!
Thanks for the great feedback!
Stunning Mike and Lisa. The place looks Fantastic 😁
Thank you!
Great job Mike and Lisa. That's a classy place. Love the entertainment center area. Great color...
Glad you enjoyed it
Waving to you from Maui! I love your remodel ….esp. the granite! I’m so tired of the white w/ gray veining quarts. I vote to keep the carpet! Cozy on your toes 🌺
Thank you!
Super sweet pad! You did just about everything I would do. Center your tv on the wall. Yeah maybe change the carpet. Great start to your hard work in Hawaii. It’s tough to get started there! Sell it, rent it, whatever and soon you’ll get one of those multi million dollar homes. I’m glad for you guys. Love your channel!!!
Thanks so much!
The home looks great!!! Me I would not replace the carpet until it needs to be replaced, besides it seems to me, that Lisa has the living room furniture getting replaced, so save the money for that. I am with Lisa, it’s very faded.
And nobody see's the carpet either!
Great job Lisa and Mike! Warm and I love the accents... the wood and stone and tiling are all great! Big fan of the accent wall behind the TV. I'm with Lisa on the carpet. Grey, it ties the bedroom up nicely. Also, Mike, yes she has a point on the couch. 🙂 Thanks for showing us! Lovely job!
We got your vote!
Hi from Australia. Congrats Mike and Lisa, it looks wonderful, my favourite thing is the flooring and the bathroom finishes. Yes grey carpet would like nice in the bedroom, but not something you need to do right away. well done.
Thanks!!!
Beautiful choices. Gorgeous home!
Thanks!
Lucky dog….looks great!
Thank you!
The beige carpet is not a big deal but I would change it to a darker shade of grey. Great job and the kitchen is fabulous. Well done. Lisa, congrats on your license!
Thanks so much! 😊
Congratulations Lisa! Looking forward to you two doing great things in HI. Love your remodel!
Thanks!
Great Job Guys, Looks Great! If you do change the carpet, Get the Best/Thickest pad you can. The carpet color to grey oddly enough you will see the "Dirt" a little more and wear over time. Unless you go with a darker grey which might darken the rooms. I have seen the grey carpets here in Florida and that's my thought. We have the plank flooring in our house throughout and love it. Sand gets in, I don't care what's done to try and keep it out LOL. Love what you're doing, Keep it up!
Thanks for the tip on the grey!
Love this! Doing (remodeling) the entire place at the same time is awesome - all the rooms flow into each other. That kitchen counter with the waterfall might be my fave. Happy Sunday. 😀
I totally agree!
Love the remodel. I would reupholster the couch, carpet looks good but like you said you can change it in the future. I adore the hibiscus in the 3 ocean vodka bottles. I'm going to do that when I get new blooms next year.
I LOVE that you noticed and appreciated my hibiscus in the ocean vodka bottles! 🥰
You made Lisa's day!
GREAT job! Love the accent wall behind the TV.
Samsung fridge? Living dangerously eh Mike? Looks good, congrats on finishing your project
Yes I am! Loving it so far!
Very nice, what was the cost?
We definitely went over budget, but we are happy with what was done! Without revealing too much, it was in the six figure range.
Wow
Thank you!
Well done!....i mean....Very well done!
Is it a need or a want. Lol. Your carpet looks good. But you need a new sofa asap. I think Lisa is right about the sofa.
That's what I'm hearing!
@@HawaiiRealEstate You two did an awesome job with the renovations! It’s never easy that’s for sure.
Great job you 2. Now for the Master. Carpet in is fine BUT if you really want that glamour, do it in a white plush, not the grey/silver. imo...
Thanks for the tips!
You go her way…ALWAYS !!!😅❤
I’m going with Lisa 😅
Probably a smart idea!
Sorry, Lisa - not going to agree on the sofa. It looks just fine - could it be recovered, if anything? Replacing the whole thing seems like a real first world thing to do. Your home is beautiful, you have made a wise investment both in the condo and in the remodel - many beautiful features.
Thanks!
#1 presenters, #2 granite, #3 master.... add/change: 👔the shirt bro😂
Everyone loves that shirt!!!
since you asked....IMO the only ones that should decide on how your home looks is you.
It's your home and should reflect what you like, no one else matters. So if I matter...I thought you lived in Hawaii? Looks like Chicago or NYC or LA.
I tend to a modern design a little. I see lot's of the Hawaii resort look, and I guess I'm okay with something different at home for this one!
No to the carpet, matching the walls would put WAY too much grey in the room. Contrast the walls...
That's what I thought!
You might consider changing out the front door lock to black for a contuined match
Unfortunately the condo association won't allow that. They all have to look the same from outside.
As others have said, I appreciate you as a realtor and content creator. Hence I won't comment on your home. Too personal 👍
Gotcha!
you didn`t show the deck
it was a mess! lol
why not just have it reapolstered (sp)
that will probably cost as much as a new one out here.
Nice job! I'm with Lisa on the carpet. Love Lisa's dress as well.
Awesome! Thank you!
