Enjoy your videos. I live in New Plymouth and often target John Dory. When fishing in the harbour would you fish in the channel, just off the drop off or just before it drops off?

halfway off the drop or the top of the drop is normally where i try to anchor. That said the dory swim all through the area. Just depends where the bait is
