I was just talking to some recording buddies about just how much the recording landscape has changed since just 5-6 years ago. Guys like Neural DSP and ML Soundlab have really accelerated the way we look at amp sims and how guitars can be recorded nowadays.
Yeah man! It’s wild, I quite often look at my amp collection and think “do I reeaaaaaaally need these still?” I think I forgot to mention in this video that I just wrapped up production on an album that uses every single ML amp sim on it 😂 -Toby
I got 3/5 correct! Lol Would’ve never guessed Pink Sabbath would be on the list. Also need to check out Fluff 2C for sure. Figured ML5 would be able to do what 2C does but it’d probably be worth experimenting to see what the differences are.
Oh man that block letter tone!! Great video as always! 🤘
It’s to die for, right? Thanks for watching and for your kind words as always Max!

Pink sabbath is great. Pink handles the clean and sabbath gets your filth in on!
I should probably do an extensive shootout of ml5 and fluff2c 🤔

I have the iconic plugin and love it but only down side is no stereo routing that i can find, only mono?!
Iconic is great too! No, no stereo input, but you can link 2 instances together in your DAW! (Unless you’re on logic)
