The master! Tim, I once got to sing with Gene Puerling and the HiLos. In 1983, our vocal jazz group, the Fanfairs, held a vocal jazz fest, and the HiLos reunited to headline.
I love singing along to this version so much! The chromatic movements in the bass are so delightful~ EDIT: Is the bass line incorrectly notated on the last line? The natural on the B should be one note over, right? The first B there sounds like it's B flat to me.
