I have the solution to the problems in this video linked below. Thanks for all the positive feedback. I still love this van to death so haters gonna hate. ua-cam.com/video/Xeq0eWvjbJQ/v-deo.html
Had 3 Chevy Volts before buying this hybrid van so we'll schooled on hybrid ins and outs. Got tired of waiting for GM and other more reliable manufacturers to get such a vehicle in dealerships as we needed more room and comfort from a hybrid vehicle plus needed the $7,500 tax credit and end of year pricing. Had it almost 1 year now and confirm some of the things mentioned in video. The noises didn't bother me as you get spoiled with the lack of engine noise from these hybrid vehicles most of the time and when the gas engine does run sometimes it may seem more pronounced as you are used to not hearing the noise of the engine running. The light colored leather interior is hard to keep from staining but can be somewhat mitigated with proper cleaners and leather care products. The electric mileage is great for such a big vehicle just slightly less than the cramped Volt. The almost 600 miles per tank is great also. I have to add gas maybe once a month or less. Comfort, room and utility are great but no towing capacity. The stupid award goes to their use of some software tied to the radio that you must use to set the charge schedule. The charge schedule must be reset every month or it will not charge on schedule which you need for off peak electric charge rates ( costs about $ 35 to charge per month ). No fix yet from Chrysler but they have known about this problem for years ( WTH Chrysler that is one of the main reasons you buy a hybrid or electric so you can use it mostly on electric, not where you want to have a glaring problem inconveniencing customers from doing such duh ). Never owned a Chrysler before because of quality and reliablity issues so bought the extended warranty something tells me that was a good move. Bottom line this vehicle is not for everyone, but if you need a quiet comfortable ride with good utility, great electric and gas mileage, the tax credit, end of year pricing and gas savings then go for it but try and get darker interior if you can, we couldn't find one at the time. If you are buying and have doubts about quality and reliablity get the extended warranty at a discount and if you don't need the tax credit just lease.
This is unacceptable. The fact that you were able to temporarily fix the problem by slaming the door means something is loose. Most likely a connector. Worst case it is an electrical component.
People stop buying Chrysler's malfunction cars all their cars are known to have these issues shorty electrical work transmission and engine issues are common things with the Chrysler
I have a 3 month long case open with both the dealer and Fiat Chrysler Customer Service. Have another round of scheduled investigation maintenance scheduled for May. I gather that they are practically going to take the entire car apart this time. Cross your fingers.
Have not had any issues once they found the gremlin in the car. It was a secret problem for sure but warranty and the dealership covered everything and a loaner. I would say once the issue was cleared up this is honestly uhhh best car I have owned ever. It drives smooth like butter. I save a stupid $$$ on gas. Never going back to a regular vehicle. One thing I hate about hybrids in general is how small they all are, but this thing is a full sized van. We have even taken it on 3 trips since the fix. Hope that helps.
I'm surprised people still buy Chrysler products as common as issues like these are. At least in the '90s, they had highly innovative engineering to make up for their reliability deficit.... now they're just at a reliability and engineering deficit to pretty much every other manufacturer minus Mitsubishi which is basically Japan's Chrysler.... and to think your van it appears only had 8k miles at the time...
I from Africa,.selling this stupid car to me please. Me need new car to making my wife happy. She not caring if something wrong with radio. I go getting cash now, if you selling to me this garbage car. I not caring how many things wrong with it. I from Africa we not care.

So Chrysler went from having Daimlers mechanical problems to Fiats electrical problems.

Assembled in Windsor by potheads smoking weed on the factory roof... sadly this is a true story.
Was it the auxiliary battery? Mine did the same thing. I had to replace it, then it failed again…apparently a very common problem.
Check your states lemon laws
Bad vehicle grounding; poor quality control from factory
Seeing this problem in this car. I want it.. Just to fix it
I don't have this problem with mine. Hope it resolves!
FIAT fix it again Tony
You needed to get the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica hybrid.. no issues what so ever 113k..
Appears like its just your AGM battery weak..

At first when you charge it, you could’ve shocked the car because same problem here and the car wasn’t starting so we stopped using the charger.
The reason it shocked the car was cause of rain.
I just now posted a followup video. See the pinned message at the top to see. Thank you!
I'm going to assume that a grounding cable is loose and that nothing is wrong is really wrong with this car.
I really wanted to buy this minivan, but now im scared to. I cant afford the possibility to be stuck like this.
maybe the 12v battery is dead?
Andrew, did you ran this issue by the delear?

2017 thru 2021 issue's steer clear of Chrysler
As an electrical engineer I would say for sure that's a bad wiring harness
Do you still have any issue? Do you recommend buying ?

This is why you don't buy a Chrysler.
@TANORWAY mercedes isnt reliable like before recently has been crap
BMW is a nightmare to me
dude, you just totaled your car by slamming the door.

It was a frustrating issue for sure but since the fix it has been the best vehicle I have ever owned.
By the way I could not find a clear fix to this problem, but trying to help
Not sure if reprograming the whole elect at the dealer would help .
Mohammed, did you face the same issue?
I just now posted a followup video. See the pinned message at the top to see. Thank you!

Was your problem ever resolved?

Dodge is not meant for the EV industry.

Fiat junk
I would sell it off and get other car. This van is utter garbage.
I haven’t had any issues since the fix. The problem was annoying but fixable. Just a ghost issue till they found the fault.
Should have listened to Scotty Kilmer. Junk
That dude is a clown most of the time to be honest. Chrysler still sucks though.
