I feel you bro I got laid off from my first business management job with a tech company after 3 months It took me 6 months to finally get a fairly better position with another tech company after applying up to 20 jobs nearly everyday and I start this Monday 😊 Respect for anyone who is on the grind
It took me 4 months to deal w/ the rollercoaster of emotions. I'm at the acceptance level and coping day by day job searching. I give myself a break when I feel burned out. Future is uncertain.
up to a certain extent, I agree. it's best to do our very best and be higher up in the "likeable/usable" ranking of the company so that our chance of getting fired is smaller. but sometimes a layoff can be very drastic and there's not much we can do.
Layoffs are different from terminations due to performance issues, where the cause is directly related to the employee’s actions or lack thereof. In the case of layoffs, the decision is more about the company’s needs and less about individual performance.

Sadly thats the reality of layoffs. U just have to that the emotion out of it
Cope harder layoff indeed your mistake lmao.
That's the reason A got layoff and B not getting layoff.
Take accountability bro
In general layoffs can be out of your control
