When I first watched this I thought hmmm not sure but you know what Ellen it’s a brilliant way to express yourself in a sketch book rather than wasting really good paper as currently I’m at a mental block stage. Thank you will definitely be doing this.
Brilliant.I just saw it and I will do it , because it seems very liberating to me not ti stick to rules, but to create according to how you feel. I think it is therapeutic and should be a practice to usecfrequently. Be free with the brush, have fun and relax.You're a lovely person. Thanks❤
Ahhww! I think its very cool! I love mix media! That will make a brilliant kids book illustration! Or even nursery room decor! Thats what its for relaxing your hand and mind esp if u are stuck in a mental block. ! This is what i do if im getting stressed at life and my brain wants to torture me 😅 ! Sometimes we need to be a kid again and reboot! Lovely girl! Love love the colours and lines!❤❤❤
So cool. I did a similar painting the other evening using all the paints left over on a few palettes and the used metallics and Posca pens on top! I love to play along with you Ellen!
Background washes are so important and as you show we can achieve all sorts of surprises. I some times look for shapes in a wash and it is amazing what you can end up with. Thank you for reminding me of this excellent exercise.
I really enjoyed this! I'm taking a 6-week class - which I love - but I feel so inept! This was a fun watch, and helps me put aside some of those critical feelings. Thank you!
