His dad was a dentist and that started his obsession with teeth but having flunked out of school. Shortly after flunking out he started killing people for their teeth and to get close to people he took cleaning jobs because no one pays attention to the janitor. He was killed by the second kid who died in his fight....with the janitor.
Kinda feel like they should all have the coffeecup on their key chain maybe that connects them ... they all go to the same coffee shop. Love the art keep up the great work 😍😊
The janitor is killing people and stealing their teeth because he wants to find one to fit into his own mouth. While growing up, his mom always told him he had a wonderful smile, but after he died he lost one of his teeth (idk what happened) so he's on a quest to make his smile perfect again to make his mom happy.
As always, your art is fabulous and unique. The backstories are depressingly funny, if that makes sense. I think that is why your work has found such a wide audience. You don’t read the prompt keys/coffee and just draw them sitting on a table. Instead, you think of why these items exist together. Bravo! PS: anytime you want to draw little houses is fine with me...I LOVE them!
Hi Kesh. I wanted to say that I really liked your "100 days of drawing comics" videos. I was sad that you didn't do it to the end, but I understood and respected your decision. I hope wathever direction you're going with your channel now is making you happy :)
Honestly, the fighting boy was my favourite BECAUSE of how real his death kinda is. He seems like he probably used to be a sweetheart, but got in with the wrong crowd, of gangsters and baddies, and now he has to act tough around them to keep up his appearance. And maybe, his "friends" wanted him to hurt some guy, but he was like, "No, I can't." and everyone was like, "Oh why, do you LOVE him or something?" And he was all like, "Yeah, actually, for years I have!" And then the leader freaks because he's feeling feelings, disobeying orders, and has romantic feelings for someone of the same gender, so he orders the gang to kill him, and he fights until the very end, but he doesn't make it, and his last dying words as he takes his final breath are, "I wish I never met you all." (It's 5 am and I really need to sleep, so sorry for this ramble of nonsense lol)
I love this idea. I'm not a huge fan of the "death" part but i watched it anyways and i don't regret it. 😊 i love the idea of matching Keys to a person. They can be personalised in so many different ways! Mine for example has a rainbowdash Keyring and my key itself has a rilakkuma cover made of silicone. Yeah... i'm 22 and i love everything cute. I have a problem 😁
Suzanne Kobela That is a good solution if Someone made you mad but if Something made you mad then... COFFEE. Being honest though this reply made me laugh. xD
I am in love with this concept and I love how morbid you sometimes get which is (I would say) rare in the youtube art community. aaaand now I got super self-conscious about my own key-ring. thanks. xD
Hai Kasey, I have watched you sense day one on the drawing prompts, I love your art style... It's something you don't see everyday....I know your not going to see this but I love your vids and can't help telling you, I know it's annoying to hear this but im 11 and your really cool and inspirational. Your the only reason I didn't give up art... Ok I'm done Xoxo Paige
Oh, gosh... I LOVE these! This is my favorite prompt in a while. I don't know why, but the concept for this - creating a set of people, then choosing a personal item that everyone has but is unique to each person and creating the personal item that corresponds to each of the people you created - appealed to me in such a big way that when I saw what you were doing I said, "Yesss! " out loud in a very excited way. Everything looked great, and the death angle was fun to play around with, but my absolute favorite part was how the keys came out. There was something so visually pleasing about the way they were spread out, like specimens, in a way, and they looked so good just popping off the white. They were great objects to draw/paint, and I think a background of any kind would have distracted from them. Again, I don't know exactly why (maybe because I was a little obsessed with keychain in middle school?), But I really did love this. I would happily buy an art of coffee table book full of these.
What you said around 1:00 about drawing what you like and about going out of your comfort zone is really important. I feel like I should step out of the box and start drawing differently and more often and change, but I don’t like the results and I don’t feel any more motivated or inspired. Only when you draw what you enjoy drawing will you ever become better and NATURALLY think out of the box. So, everyone out there, keep doing what you love, and see where your art takes you, because you WILL evolve!
Hi! I don’t usually comment on videos, but I haven’t been an artist for that long so I’m still playing around with ideas and themes and such for my characters and drawings. I just wanted to say that you’re the first artist so far that’s really inspiring to me and I love your art form! I didn’t know water color could be so detailed and I honestly love it. So I just wanted to say thanks for that? Sorry I didn’t really know how to put that into words 😅
Love your comments on creating simple art, it makes me feel less weird for not enjoying either the process or the result of forcing myself into detailed stuff like you said. Btw I love your "simple art".
My house key has a little duck cover on it, and it’s on a pastel rainbow lanyard. There’s a little unicorn charm, and a couple ‘ cards ‘. One for 711 and another which is a pass to recreation stuff ( mainly pools ) where I live. ( That honestly says a lot about me. )
LOve this. Your style is so interesting, simple and yet still have the right amount of details and still can get really bloody and such. Soooo amazing!
I really loved the personalized key concept and the stories of (all of) your characters! I'm so glad I found your channel! It really cheers me up. Thank you =)
I think this is the 4th-5th time I've watched this video for inspiration. I don't know why but I love the art in this video so much. Kasey, You're an amazing artist and thank you so much ^^
I am in love with this concept. I'm definitely going to use this while warming up. Also seriously glad you said something about not pushing yourself to do things you don't like. It'll be easier for me to do now that I've heard it.
Hi Kasey! I love the way you draw. I love your style. I watch your videos the day you upload them. You inspired me to keep drawing. Every Wednesday I watch your videos on the prompts, keep doing this great art.
I found this in a book store and I was looking through it to see if I could find the next drawing prompt you were gonna do :3 Keep up the good work Kasey!
Wow, you did so good with this prompt! I feel like with every prompt you just come up with something even more creative, it’s awesome! It makes me want to get a prompt book, too.
the end result of your art is always so satisfying to me? like when the paint dries it looks so nice and the lineart compliments the watercolor AH i just think that when i watch your videos idk if it even makes sense
Kasey I love your art style and I just wanted to say I really look up to you and they way you creatively use these prompts! To you and everyone else here, keep bein’ amazin’
I actually painted a cactus in a flower pod a few days ago and the whole Thing was a house and now you are Paintinger a Sketch with an coffee mug house😂😘 Love your promts
I also like your simplistic style, I think it’s why I am continuing to watch your Videos, you have a very different style from me and I’m just enjoying your videos.
Not to be creepy or anything…. but it's better if you don't put your keys in a video, you can analyse a screenshot and rebuild it with an 3D printer. And if they find out your adress…. BTW the creativity you put in your videos is awesome!
This is such an interesting prompt. You say simple but, you really put an advanced twist on the simple idea! Love it! Also, the idea of death is also very interesting, so making art on this is a very good idea. Idk if that sounded weird lol
I love the concept where their personalities was being shown through items, but you could have also made it a tired mom with loads of kids and her coffee, opening the door to their home.
Honestly Kasey, how did you make such gory images from two simple prompts? XD I do really like the concept of trying to figure out what kind of keys belong to a person, it's fun to imagine what they have on their keychains
While watching this video there was an ad that was about opioids. There was this girl that got in a car accident cuz of the opioids and sadly she died. The End. I felt like I needed to comment this cuz I had no clue what to comment, lol. Edit: Also I thought that the ad went with the other depressingly funny background stories for the prompt drawings.
I love that idea honestly. What people own really do represent them! Things like clothes, keychains, phone cases and backpack contents can tell you so much about a person. Like my backpack ALWAYS HAS a sketchbook and a pencil case. Usually some snacks like chips or peanut MnM's. Probably a phone charger. Maybe my laptop with the galaxy case on it. Deffinitely has pins of emo bands and the gay flag. It just says a lot about who I am and what I do. And I love that these little things can say so much about us.
They all look amazing Casey , for the second character , maybe they were of a fight and then the person that they were fighting took their keys and stabbed him with his knife and then he stumbled home , had a sip of coffee and kicked the bucket
This reminded me of the Kagerou days song! If you dont know it, its a song about 2 people stuck in a time loop, person 1' a girl, keeps dying and person 2, a boy keeps witnessing it. This goes on for 10 years, before the guy dies instead of her but the time loop keeps going.
I have a suggestion! You should use Tombow Brush Pens! I’m starting to use them in my art! They are a really nice thing to use! They are kind of like water color! You probably won’t read this, but I’m putting it out there anyways! Stay cool, Kasey!
This story reminded me of the Croods when Grug tells a story and in the end the character always dies xD also , those tooth keychains are awesome! I want one!
Okay, the shadow on that key by Mojo Jojo keeps changing. It's freaking me out. LOL Love the drawings, though. And right before their deaths...That's cool.
Of course I had to watch this at 3 AM before going to sleep. Good idea, me. Haha. I was so excited to watch a Kasey video that the whole thing being (spoiler) creepy and sorta messed up just came to me after actually watching. Now to watch a more lighthearted and cutesy video. Hahaha.
the janitor definetly reminds me of daughter of smoke and bones, its an amazing book and in the book a character collects teeth to ressurect people from it and I kinda imagine him doing that, also people collect teeth for the ressurecting character guy and get wishes (kinda magic beans) from him in return so that could be another thing this janitor is doing! :D
My idea about the janitor was so not related to death anymore. He exhanged his mortality to death to be able to continue in stealing teeth from people. 😂
OOH! I have an idea!! It’s not that cool but my idea is that the janitor was friends with everyone, the kids and the parents since he worked at a school. (This is important later) maybe he worked part time at a dentists office and when the kids got their teeth pulled or something they’d hand them to their janitor friend, as a gesture of kindness, since the janitor didn’t have a tooth. I think the way he died was interfering with a fight with the rough dude. The fight might’ve been taking place near the school and the janitor stuck up for the rough guy since he was getting his butt kicked. The rough dude and the janitor became buddies and would hang out every now and then. Though, the janitor was nice and friendly and had no enemies, he made one when he stuck up for the rough guy. Maybe the person the tough dude was fighting broke into the janitors house and killed him? Maybe the guy was part of a gang or something. But that’s just my theory.
Seriously loving all of your theories on the janitor. From tooth fairy to replacing his own tooth... keep 'em coming!
His dad was a dentist and that started his obsession with teeth but having flunked out of school. Shortly after flunking out he started killing people for their teeth and to get close to people he took cleaning jobs because no one pays attention to the janitor. He was killed by the second kid who died in his fight....with the janitor.
What if the fighting boy is fighting the janitor, because he killed fighting boy's mom for her teeth.
There are a flying ants in the world, you know....
I don't have a mom I have two dads c:
I saw the Mojojo key chain.
Kinda feel like they should all have the coffeecup on their key chain maybe that connects them ... they all go to the same coffee shop. Love the art keep up the great work 😍😊
Awww, that would have been a great idea! Maybe even some sort of rewards program card key chain, haha.
I can totally see a kinda morbid short story series circling around those characters or the people that go to THAT coffee shop!
The janitor is killing people and stealing their teeth because he wants to find one to fit into his own mouth.
While growing up, his mom always told him he had a wonderful smile, but after he died he lost one of his teeth (idk what happened) so he's on a quest to make his smile perfect again to make his mom happy.
oooooooooooh I love it already!
Wtf
Interesting take.
The janitor is actually the tooth fairy
That's... terrifying, haha.
Sketching Art you are so very welcome😂
that's a good picture! lmao
i thought so too skdjks
You mean he *was* the tooth fairy 😂
As always, your art is fabulous and unique. The backstories are depressingly funny, if that makes sense. I think that is why your work has found such a wide audience. Aw, thanks! Creating backstories has become one of my favorite parts about this series!
+Katie S "depressingly funny" AKA my entire sense of humor 😂
Wow, why push yourself if you don't wanna got there.. something I really needed to hear Kasey. #deepthoughts

you can't have a kasey video with out an excuse in the first 2 min !
Oof
you cant have a kasey video without BLOOD or a creepy story
I love this idea. I'm not a huge fan of the "death" part but i watched it anyways and i don't regret it. 😊 i love the idea of matching Keys to a person. I have the same problem. :P
Yes, the key is coffee.
You're tired? COFFEE.
You're Mad? COFFEE.
You're trying to steal shoes from your sibling(s)? COFFEE.
Someone made you mad? Punch them with your coffee mug!
Suzanne Kobela That is a good solution if Someone made you mad but if Something made you mad then... COFFEE.
Being honest though this reply made me laugh. xD
Suzanne Kobela
need to burn someone? COFFEE.
Sh00keth YES.
Stressed out? COFFEE
Maybe the janitor guy is like an urban legend the kids tell each other (what if they're all urban legends?)
Coffee is always the answer.
WOa H, I don’t know why I didn’t expect you here
Robot Friend • HHH

Aw!
I need coffee now , love that mojojo Keychain
I love it when you take something as simple as keys and coffee and make it into this huge thing, Kasey! You're so full of creativity.

This one was so morbid! 😆 I love how cute and child-like yet mature your illustrations are! It makes your art extra unique and interesting!
LOve this. Your style is so interesting, simple and yet still have the right amount of details and still can get really bloody and such. Soooo amazing!
The time lapses look so satisfying and unique. And you have such a calm voice aswell. But those close ups on the art omg its amazing
I really loved the personalized key concept and the stories of (all of) your characters! I'm so glad I found your channel! It really cheers me up. Thank you =)

Kasey Golden, the only UA-camr I know that can take two promps like key and coffee and turn them into morbid props. Love you Kasey
Something about your key rings are so pleasing! The way you draw and paint the keys is a serious asthetic
Hi Kasey! I love the way you draw. I love your style. I watch your videos the day you upload them. You inspired me to keep drawing. Every Wednesday I watch your videos on the prompts, keep doing this great art.
I found this in a book store and I was looking through it to see if I could find the next drawing prompt you were gonna do :3
Keep up the good work Kasey!
All the paintings are amazing in my opinion. I love gory and gruesome things disturbingly much.
Wow, you did so good with this prompt! I feel like with every prompt you just come up with something even more creative, it’s awesome! It makes me want to get a prompt book, too.
I love this concept sm! Kasey never fails to deliver simple yet unique art!
the end result of your art is always so satisfying to me? like when the paint dries it looks so nice and the lineart compliments the watercolor AH i just think that when i watch your videos idk if it even makes sense

Love your promts
That sounds like an amazing idea! Now I want to paint something that’s a house..
PennQuill 😂👍
Kasey I LOVE your drawing style and your personality. I love drawing also and your work inspires me to make my art better!
Man I love whenever you post a new video because you're so creative and nobody can guess how you're going to execute the prompts
I also like your simplistic style, I think it’s why I am continuing to watch your Videos, you have a very different style from me and I’m just enjoying your videos.
Esika Arman
Hi Kasey, huge fan. When is your Friday video going to be out? I'm very excited for it.
DAV E 😂
Probably Friday...
Hmm I wonder who's husband u r... hmmm lol
I LOVED THIS! I absolutely adore your death prompts-- you always create such good characters!! 💞
So in love witg the concept! I could totally see a video game or flash card game of some sort based from these!
Is it just me, or do I never seem to miss a prompt, they're just so fun to watch, keep up the good work!
I love how creativ you get with your ideas behind the promts 😁 it's amazing how you think "outside the box"😊
i love this so much! your art is so addicting!! well done, kasey!
Not to be creepy or anything…. but it's better if you don't put your keys in a video, you can analyse a screenshot and rebuild it with an 3D printer. And if they find out your adress…. BTW the creativity you put in your videos is awesome!
exactly my thoughts!
Waking up to this and drinking a coffee is so relaxing
I like the boy but the mom keychain made me sad
This is soooo good!!! You're such an inspiring and talented artist, Kasey ❤️
YOU ARE A QUEEN! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH THEY INSPIRE ME SO MUCH AND PUSH ME TO KEEP DRAWING THANK YOU
Your drawing prompts make me happy! Btw I love your art Kasey! Keep being great at what you do!
~Michael
Love your art Kasey. Drawing as I watch. :)
I always love to sketch and watch ur videos! It’s calming.
i love your creativity so much, sometimes! the janitor is simply amazing
"he will pop open a beer anywhere"
**he got to have his beer**
Honestly Kasey, how did you make such gory images from two simple prompts? XD
I do really like the concept of trying to figure out what kind of keys belong to a person, it's fun to imagine what they have on their keychains
This coffkey theme is not letting me sleep due to caffeine!
Hehe! I'm just awake cause Kasey's videos push me to doing art😄😄😄
I'm in love with all the art you made in this video✨
While watching this video there was an ad that was about opioids. There was this girl that got in a car accident cuz of the opioids and sadly she died.
The End. I felt like I needed to comment this cuz I had no clue what to comment, lol.
Edit: Also I thought that the ad went with the other depressingly funny background stories for the prompt drawings.
I wonder what her keychains looked like
I loved this: “everybody has a mom” talk
I had someone dropping their keys accidentally in the coffee cup!
i really love the idea behind these :o awesome job Kasey!
Nothing is better than a Kasey Golden. *LIKE SERIOUSLY. NOTHING....*
Lol I love the stories of the old man 😂
These were dark but I love it! Always loving your work!
Ahh this is the first time I entered your prompt tag thing,, love your work and videos a bunch!!
'A bunch of keys can tell your personality' that sounds good
The janitor story reminds me of something you would see on criminal minds 😂
Kawaii Princess Haha yessss
I love that idea honestly. What people own really do represent them! Things like clothes, keychains, phone cases and backpack contents can tell you so much about a person. Like my backpack ALWAYS HAS a sketchbook and a pencil case. Usually some snacks like chips or peanut MnM's. Probably a phone charger. Maybe my laptop with the galaxy case on it. Deffinitely has pins of emo bands and the gay flag. It just says a lot about who I am and what I do. And I love that these little things can say so much about us.
"What's a man keychain" Omg I'm during of laughter 😂😂
The Powerpuff girls vilain keychain you've got used to scare me so much as a child haha I had nightmare about him
They all look amazing Casey , for the second character , maybe they were of a fight and then the person that they were fighting took their keys and stabbed him with his knife and then he stumbled home , had a sip of coffee and kicked the bucket
Kasey, I watch these right before I go to bed. If I have nightmares about teeth-stealing janitors tonight, I'm going to be very salty.
I've already used them... didn't change how I feel about markers. :P
Oh my gosh! Thanks for replying! I guess water base markers don’t beat the real thing, eh? :D
I love your more morbid prompts, the elephant is my favorite.
I forgot this was UA-cam and I double tapped the video to like it😂😂😂😂
This story reminded me of the Croods when Grug tells a story and in the end the character always dies xD
also , those tooth keychains are awesome! I want one!
OMG i love this sooooo much!!
your art is really inspiring and made me really want to draw :0
This is actually one of my favorite prompts.
Okay, the shadow on that key by Mojo Jojo keeps changing. It's freaking me out. LOL Love the drawings, though. And right before their deaths...That's cool.
Me: aww kinda cute janitor character!
Kasey: he steals people teeth!
Me: NEVERMIND
The last one is super scary 😂 I love the concept!
I love the idea of what the keys say about the character that's so cool!
Mine is a house key and an anatomical skull Keychain and a wallet :)
I LOVE your Mo jo jo jo key chain!!! I love you Kasey!!!
Who when she said buckle in was Littarly buckling in the car. Lol love them Kasey!!!
Hahaha.
This is super morbid, and I love it! ps I am also an artist who had a moped (bike) and loves coffee... :O
i like the idea of drawing a set of keys for people hats such a cute idea
Your such an awesome artist, your an inspiration to me. Your art is so awesome ❤️
"He has a bottle opener on his keys because he's a bit rough"
....not sure whether that's an insult or just field notes 😂 Gimmie back my keys Kasey! 🤣
casey this might just be the weirdest set of illustrations yet...
but executed SO well as always! good work
the janitor definetly reminds me of daughter of smoke and bones, its an amazing book and in the book a character collects teeth to ressurect people from it and I kinda imagine him doing that, also people collect teeth for the ressurecting character guy and get wishes (kinda magic beans) from him in return so that could be another thing this janitor is doing! :D
My idea about the janitor was so not related to death anymore.
He exhanged his mortality to death to be able to continue in stealing teeth from people.
😂
I just love the dead tooth collecting man.
