Neat set up. I like how you embraced the non-camouflaged look. The safety orange pops and it also is a better idea on public land where you're not the only guy out shooting. That and you probably won't set off alarm bells, looking more like an arborist than anything else.

Mine actually just wore out. So I think your concerns are validated. Luckily retention straps still make it useable but a rough enough bump whole thing comes out. Now this one was super tight and I took a razor blade to the bottom side of the mount to shave just a bit to get mount to secure. That could also be contributing to my issue. Either or I totally got my moneys worth out of this helmet for two years.

However I was doing some research on the materials used on different brands other than the well known IE: T.W, HHV, Ops Core, etc. All say ABS material. Why spend thousands of dollars in night vision and then cheap out on the helmet, pads, and retention?

I didn’t. I have 4 helmets. And to this day my favorite setup is my cheapest one. Run 9k rnvgs on them no problems.

Because I need to build a loaner set for a PVS14 I got for cheap or maybe because we've been overpaying for this stuff for far too long.

I think the point of the video was pretty obvious and well executed. To busy licking windows rather than watching the video

Pretty sad you brag about a knock off helmet and yet 10 minutes into the video, YOU STILL HADN'T EXPLAINED WHAT COMPANY MADE YOUR HELMET YOUR BRAGGING ABOUT, I'm not sold on it because you did everything but let the buyer know what helmet brand you were supporting, but yet you were fast enough to Bragg about hard headed veterans products
