      Clearly, you are not familiar with the market, $320k would be a substandard starter house, in a low-income ghetto. You will NOT find anything decent at that price and be skeptical of any RE agent willing to entertain you that you convey that number too.

    Apparently, I missed the asking price. Anyway, we lived in Estero which is adjacent to Bonita Springs. Loved the area. I like this house. A couple of things are dated but nothing that can’t easily be fixed. Formal dining rooms today are pretty much wasted spaced. But it’s a very nice home in a very nice area.

    Realtors must find it hard to sell property in Florida. Home prices soaring, insurance through the roof both home owners and auto. Utilities water electric gas going up every year by as much as 20%The 8 months of oppressive
    heat and humidity are all driving home buyers to look elsewhere. Retirees can’t afford to live there anymore.

    • @NaplesfloridaHomesForSale
      @NaplesfloridaHomesForSale  7 місяців тому +1

      Yeah, I know. It frustrates me that retirees aren't able to afford living in Florida. It's becoming increasingly expensive for everyone, including the locals. The most significant increases are in insurance and taxes, especially if you own a second home. However, I haven't seen a significant rise in the costs of electricity and water.

      I agree with you. Thanks to DeSantis getting on national TV telling people to move to Florida. They came by the hundreds of thousands with deep pockets from NY, CA, TX. Florida has seen a 42% increase in real estate prices. For us these prices are unattainable. Florida never paid high wages but life was cheap. Cannot say that anymore. I hope the market will crash again.

    With building costs of between $200-300/sf and $100,000 for a screened pool with spa in SW Florida, this home is well priced. Many swimming pools in Florida are screened to keep insects out - you’re not constantly swatting mosquitoes or removing hornet nests from the pool area, and screens are helpful for keeping the pool free of leaves and debris.
