I do not know if you have a compressor or but a trick i use to get the gas up to the pump is using an air gun wrap a rag around the fill for the tank shoot short bursts into the tank of course leaving the line at the pump off that helps fill the line and get the pump to pick up the fuel faster and gets the air out of the line
pleasesss tell me how you got spark lmao i tried to see what you were doing to connect battery to distributor but couldnt see i got a 350 sbc thats ben kicking my butt cus no spark
@krustyclassicsgarage so basically just run a wire to positive on battery to the BAT Correct ? & the wire I already have running to the BAT just disconnect???
I feel really dumb right now. I'm 51, been building/wrenching since I was 12 and didn't know the hole in the alternator bracket was for tensioning the belt with a pry bar🫡
@@krustyclassicsgarage lol true. One of the best things about UA-cam is sharing info. On an original points car you can't use the original coil wire to power a HEI because it has a resistor in it and it's not a full 12 volt. So I use the original coil wire to trigger a relay and run a new 12-volt wire to the relay for power straight from the battery. And then a wire from the relay to the power side of the HEI. That way it still starts and stops off of the key.
2:43 Methinks that old Buick can wait!!!😍😍😍

I use a cheap HF brake bleeder / suction device
I use your mom’s lips….
Good thing you work out, having to bench press a tank full of gas isn’t light!

@@papergangtv946 not if you already have a 12v source going to it. Double check you're getting 12v while cranking first
@@krustyclassicsgarage okay will do thank u gonna get back to ya if it worked

@whereisamerica7384 Well, I'm sure you knew that you needed to run a power wire to the distributor for spark un like me, so I'm the dumb one here 🫠
