Super glad you explained how your weapon inventory is laid out on squares like that! I’ve been struggling to get mine set up a way I like for a hot minute so that’s super helpful
Yooo I just beat DS3 for the first time last week, and I've been going back and watching all your old Dark Souls PvP stuff. Thanks for having weapon showcases for basically everything in the game, made it easier to decide what to ultimately choose. Keep up all the great work!
Dark Souls 3 is right up there with Elden Ring imo, Elden Ring was my first FromSoft Soulsborne game and after made 10 builds/characters I beat new game and new game plus with them all and was kinda stuck waiting for DLC. I hard Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 with the DLCs just sitting around in a drawer for a couple of years, wanted to play them just never got around to it, so I tried Bloodborne and I loved it, beat it 12 or 15 times on several builds/characters, then decided to play Dark Souls 3 as well and I loved it as well, especially the Ringed City DLC, made 10 builds/characters on it as well and now I'm back to Elden Ring, made a 2nd PSN and now I'm working on making lesser builds that I always wanted to try but ran out of slots for characters lol. Making a Death Mage, Gravity Mage, Bestial Incantations build, Black Flame, Flame of Frenzy, and Golden Order Fundamentalist builds, last build I plan to make is a Servant of Rot Status Effect build, after that, I'll call it good lol 17 builds/characters is a crazy amount of work lol
@@joeyjones9041 man, I have so many ideas for builds, but I just can't bring myself to commit to another full run of any of the games, now that I know how much work goes into beating the game. Idk how you can do that many full runs. Are you beating all the bosses every time?
@@jaycobobob yeah I do 100% playthroughs lol Elden Ring is a slog at times, Dark Souls 3 not so much, plus you get way faster at it the more you do it, I can beat DS3 in 3 days maybe 2 and Elden Ring takes 4 or 5. Can't wait for the DLC just for the simple fact it's guaranteed to shake up the meta, just like the previous games. You can also bet it's going to throw off the balance because several things will be broken at launch.

"How does he always swap to what he needs so fast?" "In what situations does he use x Ash of War, or y Talisman?" I'm glad you showed your thought process when you menu and fight.
You thought about doing a pvp advice/tutorial series? Something like your regular invasion videos but it's dedicated to showing off specific mechanics/tech and you explain how you do it. I'd like to learn from you with your more laid-back attitude and invasion-focused content.
Think ashes can fall in one of three categories: long range like Storm Blade or Thunderbolt, defensive like Flaming Strike, Spinning Slash, or Waves of Darkness to get people off you, and the team wipers like Blackflame Tornado (like at 4:03). It's nice to offset a weapon's weakness by packing an ash that patches said downsides. You're usually supposed to rush in if someone is using a whip, but Chase packs an Endure, and I love a surprise Hoarah Loux's.
I'd put blackflame tornado into the defensive ones, same as storm caller, waves of darkness and thunderstorm. All this ashes only work to punish blind agression or for ambushes and make fighting 3 gankers much easier
Yo Chase! I finally beat Elden Ring for the first time! It only took me 5 tries to defeat Malenia, and I smashed Radagon/Elden Beast in one go!! I went with a strength/INT Cold build.
