It's official! You are the best reactor of Lovebites! and excellent in general, of course. I like that you can express the emotions of music, even when you don't talk. A great reaction again!
Enjoy your reactions. I say this in an extremely positive sense, your autism adds a really laser focused observation. Intersting and enlightening. They are so phenomenal. They are gorgeous women in a very elegant and classy manner...yes. it's not fair to look like they do with their musical talents. We are spoiled that Lovebites has come along in our lifetimes.
Great reaction! I was already a huge fan for years before seeing them last month, but meeting them (I was part of the venue staff that day) made me realize they are absolutely lovely human beeings when they're not stage goddesses. Very "normal" (in the best possible way!!!) people - they were so happy with the warm welcome that before leaving, they asked for a group pic with the whole venue staff. I mean, it was 1am, they were tired and THEY ask this? Which band does that? No need to say it's a fantastic and nearly irreal memory!
Great reaction and analysis ! This is the opening track to the Tokyo leg of their "Judgement Day" tour last year. This concert will also constitute their new LIVE LP "Memorial for the Warrior Souls" that will be released on August 28. On the same day, Lovebites will also release their new EP "Lovebites EP II" with 5 new songs.
music taste is subjective - granted but what is absolutely objectiv is their talent, beauty, charisma, songwriting and arranging skills ....this was the opener of their latest album and the opener of the tour , this show was live streamed and now remixed and mastered for official release in august along with a new EP ...good times!!!!
What a beautiful reaction!!!! I saw them live few weeks ago and…I need more 😅! They are absolutely outstanding! Thank you for the reaction, I agree with everything! Cheers from Italy!🇮🇹
If you look at Lovebites albums, EP's and concert live CD's/DVDs. First letter of the titles are in alphabetical order by release date. A-K now out. L and M to come out August 28th with Lovebites EP II and Memorial For Warrior Souls. Now you know.
Opening song on the newest album, 2023's Judgement Day. First album recorded with Fami on bass, she fits in very well. After Miho left in 2021, the band held auditions, Fami won and joined in Oct 2022. The album bass parts were written before she got there, but she brought her energy and style. "We Are the Resurrection" lyrics were written by Asami, she and Midori wrote the music. The Judgement Day title track is the 2nd song on the record, check that one out , live at the 2023 Knockin' At Heaven's Gate concerts.
I already subbed some reactions ago and liked this one too, you're a great reactor going into all the details about their playing (and it's a lot I know) It doesn't matter of how much I'm a fan of Miyako's musicianship but in this song Midori steals the show for me. All the the divebombs, the sounds she gets out of her guitar besides all the riffs and runs she play's here is beyond belief, it really is that good. Best part for me is at 12.25 when Miyako plays some licks and Midori echoes it with her own runs, it's a perfect call and response on this high level of playing, it's so good! 👍👍 You really have to do Shadowmaker, you can do the mv of that song too, it's beautiful edited with superb guitarwork.
Great reaction! Love the classical elements in this song...the opening riff could almost replace Pomp and Circumstance as a graduation march :) I have tickets to see Lovebites in LA this September, can't wait!
A new EP and a live DVD/Blu-ray both will be released on August 28. „LOVEBITES EP II“ will contain new songs and also a re-recording of the band’s debut „THE LOVEBITES EP“ in a limited edition. „Memorial of the Warrior Souls“ is the live recording of last year‘s Tokyo concert during the Judgement Day tour. It features 7 live versions of songs from the „Judgement Day“ album including „Soldier stands solitarily“. And also the pre-release „We are the resurrection“ which was the opening track for this show.
LOVEBITES - We Are the Resurrection lyrics: Blowing storms, Rising shadows Thunder roars, Appearing once more No one knows, Trouble and struggles What we've been through, Where does justice go?

Reflower of roses The beginning of your stage Leave all of the deep sorrow and starting this new journey This beautiful melody will purify everything Free yourself, strong and bravely Believe in the way you are

Thanks for taking a look, this was a great reaction, Fun song for me too. This song is just amazing, it's a real start your engines and get ready to drive fast kind of song for me. I don't know how they do it, but they always seem to be able to make songs that get me pumped up and ready to go!! Some of us joke about not listening to this music while driving, since so many of their songs are such an exhilaration of great sounds. This song in particular has really great Riffs I love.
OMG, so sorry...looked like I missed the heart and gave this a downvote by accident!! Thank you for the kind feedback!! Really good to hear. This isn't just driving music for me, this is a lot of what I grew up with. It's brand new to me, and somehow oddly nostalgic at the same time! What an amazing band!!
Oh my friend, best guitar duet ever? Lovebites has 3-4 songs that would compete for this title besides this one. Check out "We The United" live on their official channel. The duel guitar solo in that song lasts for about two minutes. Shadowmaker is another one. Signs of Deliverance is also really special.
I remember this song when it came out in 2023 and it was one of my favorite songs on Judgement Day album. This is even better with their official live video. Glad to see many reactions to this, approaching 18 reactors to this song so far.
This is from the "Judgement Day tour" last year through Japan with the new album "Judgement Day", released in February 2023. The performance in Tokyo on September 24th, 2023, was live streamed with virtual tickets, so that also internation fans could participate. Now this has been undergone some pretty good postproduction, it sounds really good now, and it will be released on August 28th, 2024, just before the only full set show in Japan this year (September 1st) and the US tour (Atlanta, Dallas, LA, SF). On the same day, there will also be a new EP with 5 new songs and a limited re-recording of the very first EP with Fami. This is the first official live video, showing the first full song at the start of the show. There will probably some more before and shortly after the release of "Memorial For The Warrior Souls". Maybe even for the new (new for all of us, not just you!) material, who knows?
Great reaction as usual. Really appreciate your insight. When you do swan song make sure it has the Chopin intro from Zep Diver City. There is so much happening in that song you won’t know what to listen to! I think you will love it as I do. Keep up the good work.
Did you like the new bass guitar "Fami" of LOVEBITES?She was young and full of talent from the time she was an amateur, and she was very highly valued. However, I didn't expect to join LOVEBITES. That's why it was a surprise to me!Then "Fami" improved his skills to the LOVEBITES level in about 5 months and debuted on this stage. I love "Fami." Her ✨Shining Smile✨ can make people all over the world happy. She in the EU🇪🇺TOUR was even the strongest bassist, it was more than I imagined. 🤘😎🇯🇵
I do! I like how she is just being herself, and not trying to emulate her predecessor. Too many artists get caught up in that, and I feel that each persona adds a certain nuance to the live performances, and that level of comfortability will shine through when composing, as well!
@@Reactingtothespectrum I also agree with you. Fami is still a college student (21 years old), very young, and there are a lot of things to learn from the world of adults, business, performance techniques .... from people involved in LOVEBITES. But it's okay, LOVEBITES members will lead Fami in the right direction! My life was the same. So this time, we want to watch over them🤘😎🐺🇯🇵
Melodic brutal elegance, well said! This song is a freight train of metal! 🤘🐺🤘 I have not been diagnosed, but I tick all the boxes of autism. I like the shirt! 👍
Welcome back once again , I think you are officially a member of the Wolfpack 😃🐺 As an aside, although I have never been properly diagnosed, and being now in my mid 70's never will be, I'm almost certainly 'on the spectrum' as well, I can tick all the boxes for Asperger's Syndrome. Just greetings from this German here, who is mainly trapped helplessly in the pigeon-hole of 5 certain maids, but on his journey was also bitten by 5 wolves and taken to their wolf den for good. :) You hit the nail on the head with "brutal elegance"! LOVEBITES' live sound sources, with the exception of a few, are of high sound quality, and the two guitars are completely separated on both sides, so you should listen to them once with headphones. You will be amazed at how smoothly they switch from one to the other. If you are interested in their effects board, it is a bit old and has been changed, but the service track on the 2019 live DVD may be of interest. In case you are wondering, Midori has two effector boards and has his staff operate them at live shows. Another great reaction. Haruna actually _can't_ play the bell on her ride cymbal, because she has an inverted Ice Bell that sits on top of her Ride. They play so fast she would have a hard time hitting the Ride bell, but she can't miss that 9" Ice Bell . . and she LOVES that bell, you will hear it a lot.
I like your reaction to them,,interesting isn't it😎unimaginable,,all their songs are on a different level, complicated of course😅..sound majestic and end very beautifully..that's the Queen of Metal 🔥LO❤EBITES🔥...welcome to wolfpack💚💜💛❤️💙
"Unfair" is a term that gets thrown around quite a bit with Lovebites. Of course, they all worked like fiends to become as good as they are, and each of them went through times of doubt and challenge. Midori set aside a professional career to take up music. Asami invested years in dance only to be told that she was too small for serious roles. The others all slogged through stints with unstable or short-lived bands. It all pays off now, and they make it look so easy.
Ok boss, I gotta hunch this'll be a long one; so I apologize to you and fellow members of the Wolfpack in advance. I was one of your first subs, and I see that by the time I finish typing, you will have eclipsed 1000 subs; so big congrats on that! LOVEBITES is my favorite band, period. That doesn't mean there aren't other bands out there I truly love, because there are. Variety is the spice of life. I'm not into the endless debates in comment sections saying this band or that band is the best of all time; I don't effin' care, and it doesn't change reality. LOVEBITES is definitely in the conversation though, and that's enough for me. I love them, and nothing is going to change that. I just wish they got more recognition, and therefore, more success to enjoy from their very considerable efforts to produce incredible music. They just ended a whirlwind European tour, where a lot of the venues they played were quite tiny. I can't imagine they actually made any profit from those small venues, which also makes it hard to imagine they're doing it for the "exposure." How's 300-500 attending a solo show going to do that? Many of those that attended are diehard fans that will follow them as far as their wallets allow. This band needs help in self promotion. Their label Victor may think they're doing a good job, but the numbers don't back that up. Their channel doesn't even have 150K subs yet, which is totally baffling to me. The girls are putting more effort into social media, which helps, but their growth wagon seems to be being drawn by a giant snail. Now they have played some festivals (where they shine brightly), and will be a featured band at the ProgPower Festival in early September in Atlanta. This is good exposure. I'd love to see them booking larger indoor venues, even if that means teaming up with another band in order to draw more gate. For me, the ultimate concert to attend would be LOVEBITES and Band-Maid playing to a 10K+ crowd. Yes, the intimate shows in tiny venues are equally great in their own way, and I wish I had the opportunity to do that; but the ladies I believe deserve better. More room to put on a proper stage show (complete with piano) and spread their wings. Just look at all their performances in Japan...they're frickin' awesome! I don't know what the "upgraded" venues in the US are going to look like in September; we'll just have to see. I adore that LOVEBITES does the small venues in appreciation of their fans. I wish they had the promotional backing to get them in bigger venues on foreign soil. Enough of that, though. Your reactions have been great. You have a great ear and add great value with your observations. Stay the course...you're doing great! I saw the livestream of this concert, and it was great; but post production for this new release elevates the song to a whole new level. Really looking forward to the August release of their new EP and Blu-Ray, especially since their original EP is almost impossible to find nowadays. The original EP is remastered for the new bundle they're releasing, so Wlofpack, there's no excuses...git it, git it, git it! Happy early Birthday, congrats on 1000 subs, and hope to make it to your party on Friday. If you're looking for something else to react to, I'd like to suggest a one-off by another Japanese band called East of Eden. Check out their track Evolve (extended version) This rests in my LOVEBITES playlist so I can groove to it as often as our metal goddesses. (Yeah...another song named Evolve, just a bit better imo.)
While tickets for the small venues were cheap, they sold a good amount of merch and scores of VIP tickets. They served their core fan base (not everybody would visit a festival just because of them), and I'm quite positive they covered their travel expenses around the festivals, and then some. But I agree that there should be room for improvement.
Dude thank you so much for all of that! Really does mean a lot when people take the time to give me all of their thoughts and info that they have. Shows a lot of passion and pride in music, and that's beyond admirable! Appreciate all the kind words as well. Hope to see you on Friday!!
They may be royalty to us but in reality they are humble and down to earth. I had the privilege of briefly meeting them in London earlier this month and I've seen the behind the scenes footage. They don't seem to know how special they are.
Great reaction! It's quite sensible to catch the newly released video, many reactors did this! The first one did it about 16 minutes after the premiere, that's less than 10 minutes after the end of the premiere (if you consider the countdown)!
You're exactly right. Many statues the obvious about everyone's superb skills in this band. But its the remarkable songwriting that's lift them one step more. As you mentioned, DragonForce has excellent skills. But to me, it's not that many songs that are really good. And Lovebites have that combined with a skill level that is sick. Obviously, they have the best trash/powermetal female drummer in the world. World class bassist and guitarrist that can do anything, and led by a former ballerina on vocals. Immaculate songwriting by Miako. And so easy to like humble persons that present metal in a complete new way with a smile in beutiful dresses. For me, there's in their genre trash/powermetal right now, number one, followed by Unleash the Archers and BattleBeast In rock Obviously Bandmaid and The Warning and in Symphonic Metal Nighwish and Epica I got ADD and so my daughter she also got autism. Love from Stockholm Sweden/Jonny
Lovebites undeniably has technical playing chops down cold. I confess, though, that I haven't heard the song from them that makes me go from appreciating their skill to making me a fan where I want to go hear all of their stuff.
If you're a true fan of metal, I'm a bit surprised to hear you say that. If not a real metalhead, then I'm not terribly surprised. How many songs have you heard, and what were they?
@@coryowen1949 It's quite simple, it's just not his taste. Everyone is different. I have the same thing with Nightwish, top musicians, Floor is a great singer. But this Nordic sympho-metal is not my cup of tea. I can't get into the whole Sabaton theme. I would also describe myself as a metal rock fan. I simply find some rock/metal bands boring too
@@coryowen1949 oh don’t gatekeep behind true fan of a genre crap. it's subjective taste. all music appreciation is. i can appreciate their skill, with zero hesitation, and i continue to listen to songs from them that i see recommended, kinda hoping i'll hear the one that makes my ear "get it" for this band. all i said was that the magic moment hasn't happened for me yet.
Hey, it's quite okay Aaron and OldMarty. I was just curious. Who knows, maybe he could steer me to the next great thing. Last thing I wanna do is gatekeep. I'm philosophically against the concept. The more the merrier...yada yada yada. You both get likes from me :)
As you have probably figured out, Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale. Another great band you should check out is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have the classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. They have gone through some changes but have always kept their hard, heavy, technical sound. Their tiny bassist even does death growls! They just released their new album on June 28 (Japan time), and it’s a banger. BURRN is calling it a masterpiece. The Metal Hammer review compares them to Lovebites. They have posted two video singles from the album: “Still Burning” ua-cam.com/video/v7UOTBAtJh0/v-deo.html and “Cult” ua-cam.com/video/ohFf1pwwoz0/v-deo.html
DO NOT use Lovebites and DragonForce in the same sentence. Why? Lovebites is a better band because they have better songs and Asami. DragonForce will never be Iron Maiden! Maiden is Legendary and DragonForce is a good, but not great band. BTW...I like DragonForce, but in small doses.
@@Reactingtothespectrum so what you are saying is that they are DragonForce with better songs and a waaaaay better Singer? I disagree with that assessment. I have never read anything that says they were influenced by DragonForce.
This song is the 1st song on the 2023 4th album by Lovebites Judgement Day

In case you are wondering, Midori has two effector boards and has his staff operate them at live shows.

Another great reaction. Haruna actually _can't_ play the bell on her ride cymbal, because she has an inverted Ice Bell that sits on top of her Ride. They play so fast she would have a hard time hitting the Ride bell, but she can't miss that 9" Ice Bell . . and she LOVES that bell, you will hear it a lot.
REALLY? I missed the ice bell?? I must be slipping in my old age. OR I am too focused on the damn triggers
🔥LOVEBITESRULES🔥
Yes, I raise my horns, ready to bang my head and scream for Asami ! Lovebites is descending from heaven to save Heavy Metal !
I love seeing Haruna smile at her cymbals as she gives them a good whack!
EARLIER THIS MONTH?!?! FML, seems like nearly everyone I've reacted to has been here or is coming here in the next week!
Good reaction, tnx. Come on guys, Subscribe, one more to 1000.
Made it!! Never did I think this would happen!
I think I was the 1000th!
@@Reactingtothespectrum grats!
Lovebites ichiban 🇯🇵❤🤘
🔥🐺🤘👏
Great reaction! It's quite sensible to catch the newly released video, many reactors did this! The first one did it about 16 minutes after the premiere, that's less than 10 minutes after the end of the premiere (if you consider the countdown)!
I think the takeaway from this is everyone else needs to practice more 😅
You're exactly right.
For me, there's in their genre trash/powermetal right now, number one, followed by Unleash the Archers and BattleBeast
In rock Obviously Bandmaid and The Warning and in Symphonic Metal Nighwish and Epica
I got ADD and so my daughter she also got autism.
Love from Stockholm Sweden/Jonny
Thanks, Johnny!

HOLY BALLS!!
I know it's not much in the YT world, but I am seriously excited!!
THANK YOU!!!
Set The world on fire live next! Testament w/Dragonforce like solos...in heels! STWOF is easily Big 4 caliber thrash.
Testament was one of my faves growing up. Good thought on that!
Start is classical BAROQUE music that is only played by LOVEBITES in some of there greatest heavy metal musics (songs).
There is not "iron maiden" (small letters), not "steve harris" (small letters), it is ASAMI singer and MIYAKO and MAO composers.
Elevates means better (even much better)
It is not everything relative. LOVEBITES are better then any HEAVY METAL music (band).
That is Baroque MUSIC composition, not just Heavy Metal.
Kawaii is nothing in music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But the music is great
🤘🏼🎸🥁🎤🐺❤️🔥🇯🇵🇮🇹
@@Oldmarty exactly this :)
HAGANE is back too! With Junna on drums!
@@TheCyberMantis absolutely!
Next.. Judgement Day (Live)
Try to listen to (MAXIMUM THE HORMONE),a crazy Japanese band
Check out the main channel page, just reacted to them a while ago for the first time...and how right you are!!
I get it, I really do. However, it's pretty obvious that they were influenced by them...even slightly. That's all I really wanted to point out!
@@Reactingtothespectrum so what you are saying is that they are DragonForce with better songs and a waaaaay better Singer? I disagree with that assessment. I have never read anything that says they were influenced by DragonForce.
