A Question of Grout Resin and Finishing Spray

3rd advantage of resin is that you put your pieces down first then pour the resin. Super easy. If you want to keep the frostyness put the resin down first then put the pieces on top.

I may have to break down and give it a try. Does the sea glass sink into the resin? Also I did have a resin piece given to me as a gift once - very beautiful but it turned yellow over time, dried up, and fell off. Have you had that happen?

@@SeaGlassArtbyJackie the glass will not sink if you put a light coating on. I have on piece that broke but the glass was vintage and a rock hit it in a storm. Now the resin is peeling away

Can I use Liquid Glass on top of glass mosaic? Can I just brush it on? Do I need grout?

I’ve never used liquid glass so can’t comment on that. I don’t use grout. I don’t like to cover the sea glass because you lose the frostiness so I don’t put anything on top. Just attach with silicone on the bottom.

Will resin yellow over time?

Unfortunately I have a lovely craft that was gifted to me that has resin on it and it did yellow. It was a piece that hung in a window. I love it and it’s so disappointing. I have never used resin myself.

Actually anything can yellow over time in sunlight.
