Thanks, Winderabandi, another place to to put on our bucket list......Have had a scrubba bag for years. great for washing in a small amount of water. Works really well for only 2 of us. I bet there is lots of exercise using it for a family of 5........
Been to Winderabandi many times, one of the best camping sites anywhere in Australia. I normally camp at site 27, all sand, have caught some nice fish off there, but lots of sharks though, but all sites are good. Driving down on the slope on these beaches is always tricky, as you say, very soft, so I always run my tyres down to 10 psi to 12 psi, but it does make it easier if it's in 4WD, hahaha. As I said been there many times and have never notices that water flowing out of that hole, very strange.
I think it was a wonky hole. Sometimes ground water wells up from the ocean floor. They find them off the QLD coast up north and they can be great places to fish for reds and nanagi.
Just stumbled across you guys on Insta. Looked you up on UA-cam and saw this video. We must've arrived at North Lefroy just as you left. Spent 10 days there and could've easily spent another 10. Had a similar setup right on the beach. Weather was perfect. One windy day and that was it. Will go back to the beginning now and start chipping away. Love your work!!
+Only Leaving Footprints - Exploring Australia thank you. They are from a company called A Creative Heart we have a discount code that gives you 10% off too LTI10 I believe it is.
Getting stuck on sand in $$$ fourwheel drive ,my old 2003 patrol never got stuck, spent 15 years in pilbara going beach fishing.New 4x4 withnew tec not good old 4x4
If I had a dollar for every person say this to me. It didn’t engage for some reason never done it before never done it since just one of those things. How does your 2003 patrol going towing 4.5t on the road let alone on sand?
@@lappingtheisland Pulled a 5.5m ally sea ridder most times i to remote spots between carnarvon and hedlands got stuck few times on mud flats but not on sand was hourse on sand. With tinnie behind never had trouble Now igot a toyota fourtunner and bog machine.
Typical electronic 4wd setup, always forward a little and reverse a little for it to engage. Need the manual engagement to ensure it's in. Artesian water, taste it. It'll be fresh.
When you engage it and the light is on I assumed the car activated itself into 4wd but it didn’t for some info unknown reason but cheers for the kind words Davo
@@lappingtheisland i was watching the bush tucker man the other day .. his words were technology in the bush can be more trouble than it's worth.i drive an old land Rover d1 no buttons to rely on..
The contrast between the endless arid landscape and endless blue water is so beautiful

Yeah still learning the car so no harm done.
Not rabbit poo, more likely goat or roo
I think it’s kangaroo poo I seen a few there on the way out. Didn’t see one goat in that place ever.
No goats there but billions of rabbits.
Lmao how couldn't U know you wasn't in 4wd.. amateur move
