the way you make compilations with a certain focus and how it's always so well done is just amazing. like it started with the memes but ended with just pure rosemi appreciation that was so sweet so good job on continuing with quality vids for the nijien girls
thanks for the compliment! yeah, lately for any of the longer projects i’m really trying to give a sense of closure and coming full circle. so, for example, in this vid it started with the collab where we’re presented with the memes, next is a rewind to find out where the memes originated, then how they’re implemented during streams, and finally the girls’ time together right before the collab, with the extra bonus of rosemi’s reflection of her time being in 2434. setting pace is also important, since initially the unedited footage (like clipping from the stream and not editing any silences, pauses, repeats in sentences, stutters, etc) would’ve mounted to 1hr10min, so cutting out anything irrelevant is important to build moment, flow, and keeping viewer engagement. that is, until the last moment where it’s mostly pure unedited Rosemi with all her pauses so it emphasizes everything she says and highlights her choice in words. added along with that, her ending outro playing as a background indicates to the viewer that the video is concluding. a bit meta, but also setting it up so that there is less than 20sec of the outro playing in order to have the end card where it advocates to sub to her, related content, and the vtuber saying bye.
I watched most of it on stream, but seeing it again bundled like this just hits different. Rosemi's birthday stream is still one of the best I've ever watched. Great work again 👍👽
