How ATS works? Sometimes JD have Company details which is totally irrelevant to match with our resume. Do we still need to copy from top to bottom and match all keywords? I am not sure how ATS catch words so please explain if you can. Thank you.
Awesome question. I still copy that info and those keywords usually populate into the Other Keywords section. You can use those to help fill gaps like descriptor words for projects. This usually helps align for their cultural language. The score will go down a little, but you gain more insights.
