Yeah that Octovine chat is relatable. And it doesn't just happen on Octovine :D
I remember a couple of times in Dragonstorm people going crazy in map chat like "stop braham" "chill braham" and so on, meanwhile the say chat was something like "just kill, we gotta show dominance, if we have to we will just kill it twice, don't give in to map chat"
As a veteran Octovine runner. Always flame south.
And if you're south, always blame everyone else.

as for espec tradeoffs I was just about to say that dragonhunters also don't have any real trade-off, but then I realized that the official "tradeoff" dragonhunters use as an excuse to have one is loosing instant-cast on virtues....
and that applies to tomes as well!
so I am going to use that as an excuse in hope that AN will nit decide to apply ranger treatment to guardian especs, where they decided to go boring stats-penalty was for druid, and destroyed it's intentional design of "skilled play for soubeasts is mean to merge unmerge swap merge unmerge management" (thrown it out of the window by blocking pet swap in combat).

@@rodney6413 thanks. why would he use only one of the gathering tools in the invis slot and not all three, any idea?
@@RePaperBag he can use the bank access to switch all his tools from one character to another, but I believe he puts the mining tool in a shared inventory slot so that he can swap to it with one click as he's farming his alt parks, rather than taking it out of his bank, equipping it, unequipping it, then putting it back into his bank. Just a small optimization to make the daily farming routine a little more streamlined

The times that I´ve seen our Octovine maps fail, South didnt one shot. Random correlation or causation?
South oneshotting octo gets the meta done at xx:03 or xx:04 when all lanes do their job (xx:07 when one or two lanes mess up).
As a South Octovine runner, I welcome the flame.
as an East Octo runner, the map usually fails when East finishes first and everyone goes AFK instead of rotating west.
@@mayube9292 Yeah that can happen with east. Or north being almost empty without anyone asking for help xD
It´s alright though, South is always willing to rotate and help out :P
