I'm so speechless. I meet a guy on Reddit and he lives in Montana and he collects on the Yellowstone River. He randomly comments on one of my Rock and Mineral posts and he wanted to send me stuff. Brecciated Jasper, Milk Agate, 2 Pieces of Pet wood and a Treasure State Agate with a little Druzy pocket. I am ever so blessed. Very beautiful pieces. 😍🌎👑 Crazy I watch your videos and Agate Dad's and Michigan Rocks and I don't know how that came about so randomly. I guess, "You ask and you may receive". ☺️❤️🛐✝️
I was happy to see you had another new video out! That's a beautiful MT agate and you put a gorgeous, mirror polish on it. Thanks for sharing your hunt, cut and polish with us Alex!✌️🤠🤟
Amazing finds!! To see the insides, wow!! I really need to get a rock cutter. I love seeing them cut open!!! Great addition to the video! Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and your family Alex💗
That first TSA is gorgeous! And your polished montana agate was beautiful. you could tell that it wasnt a yellowstone river agate, because of the host rock still attached, and it wasnt a really rounded, river tumbled rock, like the yellowstone river agate are, but still a definite beauty! Thanks for showing us the process! And your shop space! How do you like it so far? That 10" saw can cut some pretty large stone by rotating them. Its a great saw. But you have to watch your blade and make sure to use a dressing stick, especially with montana agates, because they will dull your blade faster that any other stone out there! they are super hard and quite large! Thanks For sharing!

I'm not a rock hound. But, when my wife and I pulled into an RV Park in Sidney, MT, the owner told us about the Montana agate on the river next door. So, we went for a hike and discovered the agates everywhere on the banks of the river. I guess rock collectors make annual float trips down the Yellowstone in that NE corner of the State to load up barrels of rocks to sell at the rock shows in southern Arizona in the winter.
I live 2 hours from there and there's no one getting buckets...A few weeks ago I picked up a chunk of petrified wood that weighs 4 lbs. Get away from tourists, it's much more fun.
Beautiful finds. Can't wait to see more. Do you have rocks for sale as well? Both polished and not polished? That's a way to help support you as well. I only buy rocks from my favorite UA-cam channels I watch. Such a beautiful polish on that agate.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a new video from you today! I very much enjoy your channel! Beautiful agate! I am getting that slant cabber soon. Have you made any cabochons on it? I’d love a video of you making one so I can get some tips.
I artfact hunt in small creeks in Missouri(with Shiloh) where it is 95%+ sand stone .I some times find small inch or less red or pink rocks .When I do I am gratefull because they realy pop and seem to want to come home with us.
Do you need a permit to take anything from the Yellowstone River? I know you need one for the Gallatin River. I am in Bozeman. That is one gorgeous agate!!
Christine, I have tools through HiTech Diamond. They make great, budget-friendly lapidary equipment. I have links down in the description of the video.
You are so lucky to live near such a giving river. I know you were wanting to get home to do your demonstration but I was kind of wanting you to stay and find more rocks. The polished agate is amazing.
That Montana agate you cut and polished is beautiful! All the tiny dendrite or mossiness is like a stellar galaxy. Thanks for taking out to the river on such a nice day.
Wow, that was a nice one! Well worth the trip. I'd still like to see that smaller piece of wood (3:11) cut - I think the patterns inside would be beautiful too.

Wow, I’d like to see more of the green on the base! It was gorgeous. Anyone have an idea for the green stone?
Great to see another video.

Interesting thumbnail resembles some of my fossilized resin pieces.

After editing this I had the exact same thought. Thanks for watching.
I know you'll probably never see this, but if you would sell some agates, I'd be willing to buy them.
I search along the Willamete in Oregon. Been hunting the same spot for years and the bank keeps pushing up more and more.
Perfect for your experience
