I like how they didn’t have Peter come rushing to his rescue every time he made a mistake. Instead having him on his own having to deal with his mistakes and then use learning from them to become his own Spider-Man.
That’s actually really cool. I like how Ganke convinced Miles that he IS Spider-Man and helps slowly move away from his idol’s shadow from designing his costume based on his own strengths.

But this is still good. Ganke is a good character but I feel like if he was in spiderverse, he'd be better. They couldn't put him in because homecoming stole every one of miles's traits even his friend and gave it to Peter. They made Peter basically a whitewashed miles. So spiderverse had to change a lot of who miles is. I think the voice actor in the ps5 game fits miles better though.

Unlike Peter, Miles is a little more timid, reserved, and can be serious, not that Peter can't be, but he's usually cracking jokes when he's fighting foes. His father used to be involved in crimes, which is why Miles goes by his mother's maiden name (Morales) and could be why he often stays reserved.

It's the part at the end of the game where the community stands behind him that really hits me every time. I don't remember the exact line, but that "he's OUR Spider-Man" line stuck with me.

I am and forever be a die-hard Peter Parker fan but this game, his intro on the original Marvel's Spider-Man and most importantly Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse gave me a newfound appreciation and love for Miles Morales as a character and superhero. He is a WONDERFUL addition to the superhero lineup and the perfect superior to the ultimate version of Spider-man 🤘💀🤘
I was unsure about Miles in Spider-Man PS4, but watching him in his own game has sold him for me, he's got a similar growing up arc as in the Spiderverse movie (love that movie).

Gotta admit, the Mile Morales storyline is starting to grow on me. And this is coming from someone who prefers Peter Parker as Spider-Man. But like all great things, they eventually come to an end.
I don't think it's completely fair to compare the two given the context and meaning behind both "suit up" scenarios. Peter's advance suit was meant to be an upgrade to what has already been an optimized suit, hence the "new suit, same old me" line. Miles's suit on the other hand is meant to establish "his own Spiderman" and had to be tailored to his specific powers, in a sense he had to "be himself". In a nutshell: Peter = "be greater" Miles = "be yourself"
What’s better here than in Spiderverse is that it makes sense why Miles is fairly decent with his powers already. The game explains it’s been over a year since getting bit by the spider, whereas in Spiderverse it all took place and made Miles a pro in 2 DAYS
Spiderman is such a good hero because it not that we watch spider man, we watch the person that even if he doesn’t want to sometimes, still put on the mask on and does thing differently than the other spider-man. That probably why i liked spider man so much growing up.
That's the most intense scene when Miles Morales aka Spider-man when the Roxxon troops was pointing the gun at him. That was the awesome thing about this Marvel's Spider-man: Miles Morales PS5 spin-off stand-alone video-game storytelling.
He really did have fewer people he could open up to. Putting everything on himself, but Miles doesn't have to. His struggles are different and is what makes him shine on his own.

@J Jay Not at all. Don't compare it to those games. An exclusive game will almost always be less complex or smaller in size compared to a cross-platform game. Simply because of the budget. If this spiderman game was cross-platform then it would've been much bigger because they would've just made a bigger profit if xbox players and pc players were to jump in. That's the thing about exclusives. They can be great and this is infact great and polished. It might not be as long or as big as you'd like but that's the risk with every exclusive. For an exclusive, it is a great game. Compare this to any other exclusive and then you'd have a fair argument.

His suit in homecoming, his suit in Endgame/Infinity War, the suit he makes in FFH is made using Stark's tech, he has an AI talking to him that is also Stark tech. Nothing was made by Peter except for his homemade suit and homemade gadgets. He does defeat both Vulture without Stark tech but goes back to square one to revolving around Iron Man again in the sequel, despite Homecoming clearly stating that he has become his own hero. Then they do it again with Mysterio and erase everything in that movie, and then have him be mentored by Dr. Strange in the third movie. Not to mention, all of Spider-Man's villains revolve around Stark. His entire life revolves around Stark. He is more like a sidekick than his own hero, which is contradictory to Stan Lee's creation, because he was made with the sole purpose of NOT being a sidekick; during a time where every young hero was considered a sidekick. Say it how you want, but MCU Spider-Man is clearly not his own man. Let alone his own hero. He is more Iron Boy Jr. than Spider-MAN.
MCU Spider-Man is an adaption based in a world of super-celebrities. You'd be hard pressed to see any hero coming up after Avengers that wasn't trying to be like them since they set an example. On top of that, Marvel was trying to do something new since we had two other Peter Parkers at that point. So they gave him something the others never did, a mentor to look up to, and access to equipment he obviously wouldn't get his hands on otherwise that leveled the playing field between the more out-of-this-worls threats. They wanted to differentiate MCU Peter from Raimi and Webb's version, and make him his own.

I like how this game has battle damage, when you get hit, the suit will tear and look messed up

Is it only in cutscenes? Because if it’s in the actual gameplay I haven’t noticed it. Because I tend to get hit 1 or 2 times in a fight.

Spiderman is such a good hero because it not that we watch spider man, we watch the person that even if he doesn’t want to sometimes, still put on the mask on and does thing differently than the other spider-man. That probably why i liked spider man so much growing up.
I probably won’t enjoy replaying it after 5 but god it’s tempting for all the stuff like this. Both games are some of my favorites of all time.

That's the most intense scene when Miles Morales aka Spider-man when the Roxxon troops was pointing the gun at him. That was the awesome thing about this Marvel's Spider-man: Miles Morales PS5 spin-off stand-alone video-game storytelling.

He really did have fewer people he could open up to. Putting everything on himself, but Miles doesn't have to. His struggles are different and is what makes him shine on his own.

Not at all. Don't compare it to those games. An exclusive game will almost always be less complex or smaller in size compared to a cross-platform game. Simply because of the budget. If this spiderman game was cross-platform then it would've been much bigger because they would've just made a bigger profit if xbox players and pc players were to jump in. That's the thing about exclusives. They can be great and this is infact great and polished. It might not be as long or as big as you'd like but that's the risk with every exclusive. For an exclusive, it is a great game. Compare this to any other exclusive and then you'd have a fair argument.

When I got to this part of the game I thought the song was gonna be sunflower like in the spider-verse film but this song is also good, the drawing of the spider suit & him designing it reminds me of Tobey Maguire Spider-Man

Oh my god enough with the shit talk of MCU spidey relying on stark tech. He made the suit his own, its like people forget that in both movies it emphasizes that he doesn’t need tony nor Tony’s suit. Cause he sure as hell didn’t need it to beat mysterio either
@@FALLENSK8ER1995 He does rely on Stark tech though. Almost everything for MCU Spidey was made by Tony Stark. His suit in homecoming, his suit in Endgame/Infinity War, the suit he makes in FFH is made using Stark's tech, he has an AI talking to him that is also Stark tech. Nothing was made by Peter except for his homemade suit and homemade gadgets.
He does defeat both Vulture without Stark tech but goes back to square one to revolving around Iron Man again in the sequel, despite Homecoming clearly stating that he has become his own hero. Then they do it again with Mysterio and erase everything in that movie, and then have him be mentored by Dr. Strange in the third movie.
Not to mention, all of Spider-Man's villains revolve around Stark. His entire life revolves around Stark. He is more like a sidekick than his own hero, which is contradictory to Stan Lee's creation, because he was made with the sole purpose of NOT being a sidekick; during a time where every young hero was considered a sidekick.
Say it how you want, but MCU Spider-Man is clearly not his own man. Let alone his own hero. He is more Iron Boy Jr. than Spider-MAN.
MCU Spider-Man is an adaption based in a world of super-celebrities. You'd be hard pressed to see any hero coming up after Avengers that wasn't trying to be like them since they set an example.
On top of that, Marvel was trying to do something new since we had two other Peter Parkers at that point. So they gave him something the others never did, a mentor to look up to, and access to equipment he obviously wouldn't get his hands on otherwise that leveled the playing field between the more out-of-this-worls threats.
They wanted to differentiate MCU Peter from Raimi and Webb's version, and make him his own.
