I'm so glad I saw this video, I was about to purchase the wrong beater. Thank you Amy for demonstrating this was great. I have a 600 Pro. Thanks for sharing.
Ooh! One of those is coming to live at my house, for sure. It cleaned those sides like a squeegee on crack. Super cool attachment and smart of Beater Blade to send these to you. Everyone in the ALtC fam is going to buy one and then tell their friends about it. Thanks Amy and Eric!
Thank you Amy. Great information. I purchased a KitchenAid Stand Bowl Lift mixer because of your wonderful tutorials. Keep your videos coming. I love it!
I got mine last week , hanks to your video,. it works so well, just had to move the screw to lift it up not to scratch the bowl. Absolutely love it. I am waiting for my SS kitchenaid beater blade for my 6 & 7 quart mixers. Thanks Amy, you are a doll for doing all these videos while you are fixing up the new home...take care and say hi to hubby.
I chose the Ank awhile ago and I love it but one of these days I’m gonna get the Pro 600. In some regards, I wish I had it over the Ank and that beater just solidified it for me. With school, moving and work, I’ve been super busy but when I get the chance, I always enjoy your videos! Thanks for posting!
Amy...thanks very much for posting our products. Don't forget, you can adjust the mixing bowl height with the adjustment screw on the mixer. I'll answer any questions folks have here on your UA-cam page. Just FYI...we'll have the Tilt-Head in METAL this fall 2022 for all those with Classic and Artisan Tilt Head mixers. We're constantly improving our products and appreciate your reviews. Enjoy!
I've been using my stand mixer for almost 4 years before getting a scraper beater and it was a game changer. I can literally make a cake without having to stop the mixer and use my silicone spatula to scrape down the bowl. The scraper beater does that for me, and it creams butter and sugar much faster than the regular beater. It's a MUST HAVE.
I think this is the unique and the most efficient scraper beater blade among all scraper blades other companies have made..i had Bosch Optimum..its scraper blade is very efficient but this kitchenaid’s one is better.
I bought the same scraper but, I felt it way to tight, afraid it would be too much pressure for the motor to handle. I ended up trimming the bottom edge. Still scrapes very well. Yes, I adjusted the bowl hight to the mid point of the adjustment so all the other attachments would work as the should.
hi amy. i just purchased a pro line 7 qt kitchenaid and got a metal beater blade the newest one. however did you need to adjust your bowl height when using this in your demo in the 7 qt bowl. thanks
I really wanna love the scraper and although it’s doing a fantastic job, you can see in here it’s putting a lot of stress on the motor. There’s a lot of resistance in the bowl and well that is good for the mix it’s not really that great for the longevity of your motor. I’d like to see them shave just a few thousand 7 inch off of the rubber. Now the flipside is, if she doesn’t have the heat adjusted correctly this will happen so I can’t tell if it’s the height or the mixer paddle, I guess I’m gonna need to buy one and compare it with the OEM flex edge
I think that's what I have too. I bought it refurbished from KitchenAid directly but the wattage seems to indicate it was originally a Costco exclusive product, and I've been wondering if other 6 at attachments would work.
Right now, our BeaterBlades do not fit the Costco / Sam's Club 5-Plus or Pro 6000 mixers. We're working on it though. Make sure of your model number, and if you need help, call us. Number is on our website.
Hi, Amy. Have you got a chance to try Bosch Optimum (aka MUM 9)? I'm curious about your thoughts on it and I hope you will make a video about it in the future. I'm also curious how Bosch Mum 2 which seems to be newer model stacks up against Bosch Compact (Mum 4) and also your thoughts on MUM 5. If you ever include any of this in your video, I will be very grateful. Keep creating great content 😃
hey Amy, I've recently bought a kitchenaid professional and I've read the manual which states that it shouldn't be used more than 10 minute to knead a dough, it is not enough to make many dough recipes to become smooth and elastic, I've seen many cheaper Chinese home machine to run more than 17 minutes to knead a dough... am I missing something ? please advise
I have the 590 watt version (pro 610) of the Kitchenaid and I find that mine doesn’t shake nearly as much as yours did throughout the video. I wonder if that little bit of extra wattage makes a difference or did the metal beater blade cause that unlike the plastic one, which I have. Im sure I won’t get an answer because this video is old.

Merry Christmas Amy and Eric! ❤😊 thank you for your thoughtfulness and videos we get a ton of help and valuable suggestions!
WoW, game changer! Thanks for sharing Amy!

Hi Gary, do any of them work with the 4.3L classic? Thanks

My tilt head KitchenAid from QVC came with a Flex Edge Beater and I really like it.
Wow! Super impressive 😮
I have got to get one for my 5 qt. Bowl lift.

That company is great. I bought the one for my 20- Qt Hobart
This beater is a beast! It scraped every inch of the bowl!
I've got one coming for my vintage Hobart Kitchenaid K5-A. Can't wait to make some cookies with it.
Does the 5qt Artisan blade work for your K5A? I have K5SS.
@@DLong-wp8su No it doesn't, you need the one that's specified to fit the 5 quart lift bowl mixers.
I have beater blade for my pro 600 and it works great
Awesome! They work really well! Thanks for watching, David!

All you had to do was adjust the bowl, you didn't need to trim the blade. Your mixer motor would have been fine as long as it was used properly.
Love the videos Amy!
Thanks, Charles!

Does this fit on older bowl lift KitchenAids (like K5-A/K5SS) or only the more recent KitchenAids?
Yes, the 5L-M will fit your K5-A mixer. I have my mothers 5-Lift from the 1960s and it runs perfectly.
I also wonder if it will fit the Classic Plus Amy
Hmm...wonder if this will fit the Costco Pro 600? I tried the KA version and another brand and neither fit right. This one looks really well made!
I think that's what I have too. I bought it refurbished from KitchenAid directly but the wattage seems to indicate it was originally a Costco exclusive product, and I've been wondering if other 6 at attachments would work.

@@galtidea it would be great if you could make one that fit!
Can This be used in the glass bowl?

Hey Andres!!! I am doing great! I hope everything is going well for you. Thanks for watching!
Hi Amy and Eric, do you know if the beater blade can be used on the HL6 mixer
hey Amy, I've recently bought a kitchenaid professional and I've read the manual which states that it shouldn't be used more than 10 minute to knead a dough, it is not enough to make many dough recipes to become smooth and elastic, I've seen many cheaper Chinese home machine to run more than 17 minutes to knead a dough... am I missing something ? please advise

I think it comes down to blade to bowl adjustment and mixture content density when you are dealing with vibration. It's all about staying in balance.
Looks great, but is the machine always that noisy? That’s a such an annoying whine. I can’t decide what mixer to get
❤️
I much prefer to scrape the bowl occasionally, because scraping the bowl helps the beater mix the top of the mixture with the bottom more thoroughly.
The company is called New Metro Design, not Beater Blade.
That beater blade did not come to play!
hello
I hate the noise these KitchenAid models.
THAT BLADE IS ALSOME 🫖
Yeah it is way more heavy duty then the one that comes with the mixer. I hope you are doing well, Tracci! Thanks for watching!
