We have two fantastic Uighur restaurants in Toronto. Tasty food, great service and it’s always packed. May Allah swt grant freedom and justice for the Uighurs of East Turkestan and for all oppressed people across the world. Ramadan Mubarak.
We actually have more than two :) . I believe they're open for takeout during this Pandemic! People in the Greater Toronto Area should definitely try the "Big Plate Spicy Chicken" and "Laghman".
Kroran, Dolan, to name a few! Goshnan and Manta are my favourite, but most people's favourite is our Uyghur Kabobs (Kawap).

The present Uyghurs were formed by admixture between Tocharians from the west and Orkhon Uyghurs (Wugusi-Huihu, according to present Chinese pronunciation) from the east in the 8th century AD. The Uyghur Empire was originally located in Mongolia and conquered the Tocharian tribes in Xinjiang. Tocharians such as Kroran have been shown by archaeological findings to appear phenotypically similar to northern and central Europeans, whereas the Orkhon Uyghur people were clearly Mongoloid. The two groups of people subsequently mixed in Xinjiang to become one population, the present Uyghurs.
Modern Uyghur is not descended from Old Uyghur, rather, it is a descendant of the Karluk language spoken by the Kara-Khanid Khanate.
The descendants of Old Uyghur People are Yugur People in Gansu, China.
The Guy in the video is no more Uyghur than an African is an Englishman.
He is just an Indo-Iranian who speaks the Karluk Turkic language.

Of course we have Ethnolinguistic groups in Afghanistan such as Tajik,Pashtun,, Hazara, Uzbek, Aymāq, Turkmen, Baloch, Pashai, Nuristani, Gujjar, Arab, Brahui, Pamiri, Kyrgyz and few others.❤️🇦🇫❤️

Afghani kabuli polau is similar to turkic polao and influence of old turk nations and originated by them . It spread in slightly different style from Turks to some of farisi nations like Afghan and tajik, and also Russia.
Very informative video. Though I am living in Turkey and in one way or another, accustomed to Uyghur food, this video gives a core idea about Uyghur food.

My first time having Uyghur foods here in Germany (munich). I ❤ it especially the hand made fresh noodles👍🏻👍🏻 i dont know all the names of the food but this 2 dishes is still fresh in my head Lagman and Dapanji (sound like jumanji🙏😄😄
After watching this video we tried to find Uighur restaurants here in Bangkok. But unfortunately. I love Uighur lagman. It’s very popular in all central Asian counties, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kirgistan.

Dilyar the Ugyhur man in this video runs a restaurant in Auburn called Tarim which I highly recommend, delicious food and amazing service, I think the restaurant should've been mentioned in this video
