- I seriously can't stop playing this game. Even though I've played over 90 hours now, I'm still nowhere close to 30%. This game is "breath" taking...

For anyone watching this either first time playing the game or have played it before, BotW is still amazing 3 years later. In this video I say I have 100 hours but I now have over 300 and I've been replaying it recently. Doing all the Divine Beasts, big side quests, and all that. It's been incredible to play again. I do an event every year to celebrate the Zelda series called Zeldathon and I play BotW on the final day. It's fun to play each year but playing alone is just something else. BotW is truly one of a thing with it's exploration how you can literally go anywhere. Keep enjoying BotW. There's always something new to be found in Hyrule.
Update: I have 400 hours now.
460 hours on main play through. 5 total play-throughs. 900 koroks. All shrines. All 3 levels of trial of the sword completed. Champions’ Ballad done. 100% percented the game. And I still play every night because it’s a beautiful place to lose myself in, hear the grass under my feet, the clanging of the weapons and shield on my back, Kass’ music in the distance, the bubbling stream, the music that plays when I ride my horse (day and night versions), the egging epic Hyrule castle theme, the quietness...everything is still so mesmerizing as it was Day 1. Can’t stop.
It is such a beautiful game. The fact that you can go anywhere where other games block you from exploring, and the fact that you can play the game how you want... I've recently been playing BotW again and it has been such a joy to adventure back into Hyrule. I'm doing my own Master Mode speedrun of the game next month on the channel and... just the amount of freedom you have is insane. Playing other games after BotW seem like the force you down a path, but you create your own in BotW. This game will truly never get old.
Damn only have 320 hours so far but I’m getting those numbers up probably will replay again though on master mode to help make it more challenging and fun but when I do it will probably be a while from now because I think I need to cut back a bit from playing all I can do is just play this game
The addiction is real
I had over 800 hours DLC and the normal game so...I'm addicted to.
I wake up and this game is the first thing I think about as I see the sun.
I.
Understand.
What you're feeling.
IM ADDICTED TOO!!VHELP
the gameplay is amazing. but yeah i agree if they played music and stuff it would make riding around on ur horse feel more epic. sometimes i miss the classic hyrule music when im walking around.
sooo... best Zelda confirmed?
+MΛVE It is best Zelda game in years! I love how they returned back to the original Zelda. With a vast world to explore, it creates some of the best adventures.
I know some fantastic addiction counsellors! Once the intervention is complete of course...
One does not simply beat BotW......
Ebefren Revo I FUCKIN' BEAT IT IN 183 HOURS I CHECKED 3 TIMES AND IT WAS 183 HOURS DLC AND THE NORMAL GAME IT IS SO GOOD PARRYING CONTEST 1ST PLACE FLURY RUSH CONTEST 1ST PLACE IM NOT KIDDING IM SO ADDICTED IVE ONLY HAD IT FOR WHAT 11 MONTHS OR LIKE 1 YEAR WELL ANYWAYS I HAD 1 PROFILE THEN I MADE MY OWN PROFILE AND BEAT IT IN 76 HOURS
Ebefren Revo this is true
I know I should get the game, it’s going to be my first game for the switch
I wish I could go back in time and play the game without everything I know now. It was such a great experience. You'll enjoy it a lot.
And I thought that playing this game for 2-4 hours a day for 2 weeks and 35+ Hours of total playtime was considered an "addiction" for me. lol
im still addicted to botw for the last 1 year :P
Yeah, BotW is such an outstanding game. You can play for hours and hours and still find something new. I will forever cherish BotW with its amazing world of Hyrule. I should play it again sometime soon. I'm almost near 300 hours.
I figured that was not breath taking news
1# Addiction 2# playing to long 3# depression
It is truly a amazing game!
Umm... yeah I umm... am playing Breath of the Wild and the map is huge.... only started at the beginning after getting the paraglider from the King of Hyrule and well.... still at it.
Oh yeah umm the Switch I think Im going to go play it again.... because its umm good...... yeah... Switch......switch......precious.
when you said breath taking that is how the game got its name breath of the wild
You should make tutorials about how to be expert in The legend of zelda!
+rom bay (aromain150) Hmm... that's a good idea
How do you not have 1,000+ subs?
You're my new brother now 👍
The MLG guardian slayer!!! :0
Guardians are nothing to me now xD
Piper Gaming Whoa!? I have only defeated one thus far, it was one of those who are stuck in the ground... xD Are there any stronger enemies than Guardians?
(No name Spoilers please.)
A Guardian stuck to the ground has 500 hp, a Moving one has 1,500 hp, but there's an enemy that has 6,000 hp xD
I dont even use fast travel anymore I still look for shrines tho
I don't either. Always new things to find and if you just fast travel everywhere, you'll miss out on places. I was playing just a little earlier today and I found new places I've never seen before. I have almost 300 hours now
I think about botw and stardew valley all of the time
Help¡¡¡¡¡ i just fell in the WILD addiction 1 day ago... oh no this is more serious than drugs 🥺 here goes my life 🤦♂️PLEASE HELP ME 😭

@@PiperPrime ikr!
I just got zelda game 4days ago and I can’t put it down
I played over 800 hours of that game start to finish I got the master cycle zero for crying out loud it took me 9 whole hours to get it
Bruh that shit took me soooo long to get as well
me casualy with 235 hours of breath of the wild
I was actually just playing the other day. Such a relaxing and chill game to just hop into and stare into the distance.
Did you know that you could do the trial of the sword DLC pack
Yep, and I've completed it years ago. This video was after a week of the game releasing though so it wasn't out yet. Few months ago I tried doing the trial of the sword in master mode. Oh my goodness, that was painful
(Hey Pipes, It's me your old friend Blue Dragon. I changed my username and picture. You can still call me Blue Dragon if you like.) We all knew Piper was going to get addicted, didn't we? Have you gotten any other games, Piper?
Zelda is life
I'll take that as a subtle no.
AND WHERE IS THE WAND OF GAMELON STREAM!? PIPER, THE NOODLES ARE WAITING!
Trueeeeeee
+TheLoneLink I'm working on it
I'm playing as we speak
BotW is such a wonderful game with it's exploration. I hope BotW 2 will have that same feeling of discovery and adventure
I started playing maybe week ago, never played it before, got 80 something hours I believe 😂 it's already an unhealthy obsession. And I'm completely cool with that.
@@PiperPrime only got 1 Divine beast done 😂
I love seeing people play the game for the first time. It's such a great experience. You say only 1 divine beast but that's okay. You can just take your time and explore the wonders of Hyrule. No rush.
*insert photoshopped thumbnail here*
760 hours
...i cant stop riding my horse around (fact) wtfuuuuuuuuck
...20 hours in and I just got it registered
I feel like the only person in the world that didn't like botw as much as the other Zelda games. Like its just copy pasted like every other open world game, I miss the structured fashion of the old games, he'll even windwaker was so much better than botw. It was also too darn easy, the dungeons other than divine beast dungeons were all the same and boring. And that darn final fight was over so fast and easily. I was super disappointed by it sadly :(
It's fine to think this way. Everyone is different with their opinions. Just how you like Wind Waker when some consider it one of the weaker Zeldas. I personally love WW though. With BotW, it's not the perfect game nor any other game. Every game will have flaws. Yep, I agree, Divine Beasts were not as great as old dungeons and yeah the final fight was too easy. The thing about BotW's world though is not that it's open, it's about the interactive environment. So many different ways to mess around with the world's elements and that's what makes the game really stand out from other open world games. But yeah, just not everyone feels the same and you don't have to either. Maybe you'll enjoy BotW 2 more. Especially since they will most likely bring back the classic dungeons. The reason why is because the Divine Beasts is what people didn't like the most about the game. Also, the game would likely be more challenging since it's a sequel.
@@PiperPrime I think I've just been playing too many open world games lately, farcry, assasins creed, red dead, gta, death stranding, the witcher 3 etc etc. a lot of bland worlds with sprinkles of fun. just sick of open worlds now.
Yeah that's understandable. Most open world games are just bland.
