Poor Trina McGee, it's horrible that she had to deal with those racist remarks on the set. She was always one of the prettiest girls on that show, and although Will later apologised, the damage was already done.
They should have fired him, the show was supposed to be a show that had high moral values... and they let that racist POS off with a simple apology?
@@DrRespectful It was late in the series likely. Go back and watch. Eric got less and less in the last season/season and a half. And of all the returned? He had a lot of "Episodes". But he was on them for like 4 minutes.
I never knew that happened to her. That's terrible. That's probably why she hasn't really been in the industry since Boy Meets World.
She played a great character in that show.

I can't believe that happened to Trina McGee she's one of the best and prettiest actresses on boy meets world Angela and Sean's relationship was one of my favorites on the show because back in the 90s and early 2000s you didn't see very many mixed race couples on a tv show so I thought watching Angela and Sean's was pretty awesome

I've read many horror stories about Chevy Chase, whether to work with or his fan interaction. It's sad because he is so talented and the ego has to go! I love his movies but it is he that owes a huge debt of respect to the fans that place him where he is. I know he already had money in his family, but never forget your roots and how quickly things can change. Happy Monday 😊
I was surprised ABC renewed The Goldbergs since Garlan left the show. I think it is a good time to the end show because of this and the year before grandpa died. Plus this season the character Adam graduated high school.
Community for Chevy Chase could have been the Its Always Sunny for Danny Devito: Danny was a household name and regained popularity when be became Frank. That could have been the same for Chevy Chase.

A year or so ago on twitter some people were trying to drag tisha by saying she was the reason "martin" got cancelled. Mad at the woman, not the man who was misbehaving. SMDH.

With Martin, he was in love with Tisha Campbell. They had dated for a brief time. She got with Duane Martin. While Martin did harass her, she came out and apologized for going overboard with her accusations and that Duane Martin put her up to a lot of the stuff she accused him of. Martin even tried to warn her about Duane Martin and said he was soft and shady. Martin turned out to be right. Duane Martin was abusive to Tisha for years and she finally divorced him and is trying to move on. Duane Martin even had a hand in breaking up Lisa Raye's marraige by bringing her husband to parties and encouraged hookups. Duane was doing that stuff himself too.

I won't completely absolve Tisha Campbell..it has been said by multiple sources that she likes to make up victim stories to increase her clout. Like last year when she claimed someone tried to abduct her but there was no proof of her story and it made no sense. But her social media following went up by 60k. Idk if it's true, but it stands to reason giving she has a history.
@@Novakane78 I agree! Not excusing her from her part in it. She was grown enough to make her decisions. And to be honest, I feel like she only got Duane because he was kinda on a career high or up and coming. Many women found him attractive and Martin wasn't in a technical sense.

He left SNL because he had several offers to be in movies and he didn't want to be in New York anymore when he was in a relationship with someone that was in California It was a win-win situation

Basically, almost anyone that's worked with Chevy Chase barely has anything good to talk about him, and this goes all the way back to his SNL days. That just goes to show that the dude for the most part, is really terrible to work with.
I feel so bad when people talk about Matthew Perry's appearance, like calling him "old" and stuff. Like seriously the guy suffered enough

Chase was famous for being terrible to work with. But he had so much and got so many hits that he did not have anything to be jealous about. Being Clark Griswold got audiences as good reactions as Donald Glover.
Chase is older and his relevance had dropped significantly. Its been said (and is true) that when he was fired from Community he lost ALL relevance. He hasn't been seen since. So he was jealous for a reason...not a good reason or a right reason...but a reason
Chevy Chase is not funny. He's nowhere near the talent of the Glover kid. Musician, top selling album, actor, writer, stand up comedian... There's no comparison. The fact that he had to stoop to racism just proves he's a washed up nobody.

Chevy Chase has always been and will always be a horse’s ass!!!! He was cruel and egomaniacal to EVERYONE! I liked the days way back in the 80’s when we didn’t know as much as we do now about our “favorite” celebrities. Yes, I know, willful ignorance. But sometimes, it’s nicer than knowing EVERY LITTLE DETAIL about celebrities than you do now.

I went in blind to The Community but when I saw Chevy Chase, I knew something was gonna happen.
I hope that they'll eventually kill Murray off, and avert the use for those dodgy special effects and obviously shoehorned in scenes. Garlin's offscreen behaviour is so disgusting, and just goes to show why you shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you. It's just so unfair to the cast and crew.

@@joeryan7306 Apparently, Garlin had a habit of dropping the word "Vagina" on set, and when a female camera assistant reported him to the head of the department, he reportedly put his hands around her while repeating the offending word. Not to mention, he's made several cast and crew members feel uncomfortable, and regularly disses the show in his stand up routines.
I mean, the actual Murray Goldberg is also dead. Makes sense.

I knew Kelsey’s Grammar substance abuse and the reason for it was gonna be on here. What happened to his little sister was absolutely heartbreaking. I believe Karen was only 18 years old when she was killed. Hard to imagine such a dark background to such a lighthearted sitcom. I’m glad Kelsey’s costars pushed him to get the help he needed. Karen probably would’ve wanted that for him ❤️🩹
I never thought Chevy was all that funny. He was the straight man role most of the time. That grounds the movies, but it doesn’t make them funny. It kinda just depresses the funny so that it can rise again
I just don't get why Chase still gets work as an actor... He must have some juicy details on his co-stars and executives or he'd probably be blacklisted asap...

For the record, the allegations against Martin Lawrence were likely not true. Tisha Campbell didn't have a problem with him until she got serious with Duane Martin. Considering the fact that when they divorced, he left her high and dry with 2 kids and (apparently) doesn't have an active part in their lives, it wouldn't be hard to imagine that he had a misplaced jealousy for Martin and his friendship with Tisha. He more than likely manipulated her into making the false claims and filing the lawsuit.
Some time before the show ended, the Martin cast was doing an interview (I think it was) sans Tisha. Tisha made her way to the rest of the cast and gave Martin a big hug. (Odd behavior for someone being harassed and abused.) When they did their reunion show recently, they all talked about how much fun they had on set and how close they were, which solidifies my theory. Feel free to disagree.
I don't buy the notion that Matthew Perry has been "clean ever since". He's clearly drunk in about half of the episodes of "The Odd Couple"
