The "charity shops are expensive" video has been done to death on youtube. The irony would be a charity shop doing a "resellers are overpricing" video.

Went to Cleveleys near Blackpool yesterday, can't believe how much prices have gone up, since I was last there 3 months ago.

Same thing in Manchester. But then again someone said that they are not there to fund your business, which is true, but i
wonder how many people who woould have normaly bought from them, actually walk out because of the prices? I was told by one charity shop volunteer
that they actually employ someone to look up things on sites like Ebay and Etsi and then price them at the same price. If thats the case why not just buy
    from Ebay?

Yes some do. They don't forget Ebay is worldwide and there is a lot more work involved plus we buy the stuff in the first place. They will slowly go bust when the older generation disappear

@JonSheppardsells just seems pointless, clogging up the shop, just give them to homeless people.

Genuinely baffles me like... They price at ebay prices or there abouts do they actually sell stuff at this price or do they just spend time and effort boxing it up and shipping it to other stores just to end up in landfill??? even general people... who decides I know I think I'll pop into a charity shop today to pay £15 quid for a scrabble no one.😂.. Amazes me to think how much money they could be making or loosing a day with stuff still sat there...no one should leave a charity shop without buying something all I hear is how much... Those trainers though 😮 state of them I've thrown away better... Tbh I've noticed their quick enough to stick a price tag on it but not the time to check it over first. give it a couple more years charity shops won't be here. Saw in charity shop a used standing fan for summmer covered in dust £25 like they were £14.99 new in b&m last year it's disgusting... There are few exceptions and a few all right priced ones but the ones that aren't say goodbye to your shop. 😂 It is nice to see I'm not on my Own and it's happening all over the country. Feel sorry for the charities sorry we only made £300 we overpriced everything. We could have had £500 but greed took over. 😂 I get overheads and mangers etc but didn't do poundland any harm get it in get it gone now billionaire... I'm Hoping to follow suit 😂👍

They will carry on until nobody comes in. A big chunk of their sales is resellers
