- In a surprising departure from his typical anti-immigrant stance, former President Donald Trump made a startling statement in a podcast regarding green cards. If enacted, this policy could significantly increase the number of green cards issued, particularly to students from China and India. Watch the video to know the details.

As an international student paying more than $50,000USD/year. It would be a nice reward for all the money spent.
Teh reward is a degree, now go back to your own fu****** country! We hate you.
Yup, came here legally and became a Software Engineer. I see many people who come here legally who are Engineers, Doctors, researchers, etc. who find it difficult to gain legal status while illegals are getting everything handed to them.
What about the US born students who graduated from foreign universities. They should have the priorities when it comes to hiring not the foreign student who is coming from a foreign country and even if they graduate from US universities.
American people foreigners out smart them 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@zal1389 Companies are nothing but an organization to make more money, thats pretty much it. Whoever is more qualified should get the job, regardless of where they came from. If all the brightest minds in the world get a chance to work in the US, American companies and universities are going to get the best human resources in the world, ultimately benefitting the US as a whole. I do think we should specify which types of universities tho. Theres just too many unis in the states to make this actually happen.
As an electrical engineer I feel this to the core.
@@MorbidHunterI am a software engineer and we must stay strong I feel you here 🙌🏼
I thought Trump and the GOP was American First? Why not hire American graduates? Why give American jobs to foreigners?
Never believe a guy who cheats on all of his wives.
Because just hiring local talent won't give US companies the edge they have in the world.
The chance of this happening is 30 to 40 percent, very low...
I hope this is the first thing he implements if he becomes president
What about Americans who graduate from college? The ones saddled with unaffordable interest rates and the inability to afford a place to live?
Only Below Average Americans. Rich Americans don’t care about interest rate.
Trump couldnt care less about them.
would this include DACA students who went to college and graduated here in the US?
Trump had an amnesty deal for them.
So much for America first. What a betrayal.
He betrayed all of his wives. What do you think that he thinks of you?
You realize this is a good thing for Americans right - The increase in net productively for the country will be hugely beneficial.
@@khayangoma9064 Um, no.
Two illegal fiancee visa denials destroyed my life. Now you can give my life to others.
Wow
But what happened to America first? Which is mean American first.😢 this idea means Indian first and Chinese first then the white man will never get a government job because of affirmative action.
America is made by immigrant. If you that stupid logic, you need to back to Europe 😂
Never trust a man who cheated on wife one, wife two and wife three.
Are you really making it about the race again?
@@livingdead233 it is .
@livingdead233 I spoke with professor from a university in my state who taught at the college of Dentistry, and I was trying to explain to him my son's situations who was born in the US but graduated from a university overseas as DDS and was top of his class and how he has to compete with foreign graduate non-American especially Indians. He said, "You know something. The facilities are complaining about too many Indians at that college. " Enough is enough.
I think this is great, mostly for those who are legitimate and have no criminal record who graduate from college or university
So many software engineers desperately need this!
along with that average fees for international students are also increase along with this scheme lol, dont fall for this americans lmfao
And also discrimination and violence against Indians in USA 😂
Will it work retroactively for people already holding US degrees?
I doubt it
Don't give Donald any ideas.
Have to disagree on this one. College is quickly becoming one of the worst financial decisions one can make, its being run by administrators even more greedy than politicians and they're targeting our aspiring youth and their families with outrageous costs while creating a workforce of indentured servants, they've become a breeding ground for ideological echo chambers rather than the heart of challenging all ideas, and it doesn't even seem like their educational value equals that of actually learning on the job anymore. In principle, yes, an immigrant who goes through that much effort shows a lot about who they are and their ability to benefit society, but colleges need way less promotion as the way to move up in life, not more.
That's why you choose a career path that actually PAYS.
First Trump says he will ban and deport immgrants and migrants now he will give automatic greencards to migrants and legal immigrants who graduated college in the U.S. A Trump is a fraud. Trump is a huge Con Artist he is saying anything to gullible people even if they get educated to vote for him now and will not keep his word.
@@mrbreeze40 That's all good for those that can do that, but college is such a normalized part of childhood now, and so many jobs that don't actually pay that much still require a basic college degree for some reason, that it just wont work out that the majority of people that go to college will end up in careers that can pay off that college debt in a reasonable time. That's how we end up with the government subsidizing college tuition by using welfare programs to cover those who end up sinking because of the debt, all the way up to ol FJB actually forgiving that debt for so many.
I'm no expert, just off the cuff here, but why don"t we strive to push our kids harder, get college level gen ed done by high school so that college is only focused on the careers, and lets send kids out straight from high school into entry level positions of the careers they want to learn on the job, so that when they are ready for higher learning for that career, they already have a sense of what ideas are relevant and hard work, and they are past the need to get distracted at college with nonsense political movements and whatnot. It could reduce both the cost and time of college by eliminating so much of its size and administration, and it can be more of professors and students working together to better their fields rather than professors trying to pass along all the knowledge, like a true discussion, exploration, and evolution of ideas from all sides.
@@mrbreeze40 Im guessing a big part of the reason children are taking much longer to leave the nest and become adults these days is because we've extended the bubble of safety from true responsibility for them up to their mid 20's because of the state of college education
@benjaminstrecker3785 nah, it's because this generation is absolutely by far the pus siest weakest generation in US history. Always bailed out of everything, never disciplined, piss and moan about every little thing, act like they have it "so bad" 🙄 Give me a f ing break 🙄
Better than illegal criminals
It must be lıke that
Brilliant and the correct initiative!!!

Take this usual reply to your sour boring old comment: "Trump 20-24 years jail."
@@ytrrs Okay.
Trump babaa
Definitely American government should give a green card to international students because of their paying five times more than a local students still due to not getting a work permit. They are going back to the home that’s not fair.
I am not an American but automatic green card for graduate is bad because the us born children won't get job by this so first give priority to citizens then fill vacant position foreigner that not able to fill by citizen
Holy fucking.... based?! The idea is certain to come with problems given how the college/university system works. We might see problems employing an overabundance in lesbian dance theory majors or any other from a long list of potential problems. Or this is a great idea worth exploring despite the risks and we are just skeptical because it came from the orange man.
Foreign students don't come here to major in that crap. They're engineers, scientists, tech, etc. You don't get the opportunity to study in the West and blow it on something you can't turn into income
Although I generally agree with what Trump suggest, I can only disagree to this one. I recently graduated from one of the ivy league schools, First came as an international student, but graduated as a permanent resident with EB5 Program, which costed me over 700k to get a green card. I graduated Magna Cum Laude, with overall GPA of 3.9+, with double major, and double minor, and a concentration. But I am still jobless. Lol.
If all the international students get green card after graduation, ( Currently there are about a million international students across universities and colleges), now the job market would get much more tougher for US citizens and permanent residents who deserve those opportunities.
Also an EB5 visa, which gives green card to investors who invested over nearly a million dollars in the US, which has brought significant amount od capital to high-risk development projects, created tens of thousands of jobs, and positively influenced the US economy, would no longer be so popular. If they just go to community college which costs much less than EB5, they can still get the green card. This policy is very detrimental to current US citizens.
Also, including 2 year college graduates is an insane move, because even in ivy leagues, there are a lot of dumb international students who just have a lot of money. I believe international students who graduated from community colleges would be more so.
Also, the risk of inflation. In college towns, rents are insane due to international students, especially those china. 5-600 sqft studios costs up to $3000 per month, because of extremely wealthy chinese students. If you give all of the international students a green card that lets you live permanently in the united states, those localized effects will propagate to all of the nation, resulting in massive inflation nationwide.
Finally, national security issues. Although there might be international students from countries that are friendly to US, countries such as China are actually our enemy. And thisnis totally a nonsense. Most of the international students are actually chinese, And Giving green cards to all of them could create national security risks as well.
However, I still appreciate that he is still against illegal immigrants.
Most jobs went to immigrants post 2001. You can look it up.
The US president has zero power to implement such a sweeping reform. This has to be an act of Congress....and the US congress will NEVER implement anything like this through bipartisan support.
Good!
Why couldn't an executive order by the president achieve this goal?
@@khayangoma9064 A piece of toilet paper has more value than a presidential order on immigration- which is constitutionally an issue that can be ONLY acted on by congress. Obama used to pass (fake) immigration executive orders by night- which would be thrown out, quashed by courts or plain ignored as the pieces of trash they were.
Please, don’t give me hopes 😢
Give it to working professionals. They have actually accomplished something and add value to the country. Giving green card to Students is not right. Any body with money can get admission into college.
Balance. I'd definitely give them a pathway to get work in the US and then after at least a year they can enter in a merit based system
Those students who become professional working so....
It’s not to students. It’s to graduating students. We rather keep them working in USA that somewhere else. Use your head
He clearly said “students who have graduated”.
Give only to those with phd and working. Thats it otherwise its a misuse
Is This Only For STEM graduates ??
Trump said all.
The best thing from Trump
