This is the finest interview I've caught with Trent. I especially like the Q&A segment. I like how Trent said "the planets were aligned and his receptor was activated/working well".

He aged so well, I think he's hotter now. He's not only good looking but a deep person, I love his interviews and he managed to overcome his inner demons, which is not an easy thing to do.

I agree completely. I only discovered NIN in August 2021 & instantly felt the music & lyrics & emotions. I loved watching the concerts online & I still do but just disappointed I didn't discover them sooner because I feel I need to see them live in concert & I didn't think it was too late but now I don't know based on what I heard he said lately; which is different from what he said when he accepted the Induction to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
Also that last show in Cleveland Ohio in September 2022 WAS EXCELLENT. ANYWAY I never felt like a groupie & am not not a groupie. Yet I am finding him to be more & more sexy the more I see him talk & perform LOL

Yeah powerful interview. Grieving in that all black suit and he still delivers a potent interview. This interview feels symbolic and a testament to Trent's ability to remain focused and dedicated to his craft despite all hardship. Not an easy thing to do. Glad these moments exist to witness and learn from such a legend.

It's amazing of what we just take for granted in movies. Obviously, the music for example. Dead silence and film is just handed to you and you have to extract an emotion from that? Unreal.

Gotta love the r/nincirclejerk representative asking a question at the end. Almost looks like paid actor. Reminds of that Puscifer tour announcement skit from a few years ago where a dude in Tool t-shirt asks MJK about Tool/APC.

Trent is a genius! I just wish he never works with Manson again. As good as some Manson songs are musically, he is just a GENUINE scumbag. Unlike many metalheads who are just pretending to be all badass, promoting satanic like stuff, bla bla and othe BS...Manson is a true satanist, sadist and a scumbag of a person who stabbed Trent in the back when Trent least needed it.
I understand it's music, art, business and all, but morals are more important than music to me!
I'm so glad that Trent has married, has children and is one of the best success stories I've known! Sooo happy for him!

I actually tried to see Marilyn Manson 4 times since my birthday in 2013-which happened to be just 2 months after I discovered his music. I loved a few of his songs; ironically it took another 8 years to discover Nine Inch Nails & those songs I love are the ones Trent wrote or co-wrote with him.
      LOL
For some odd reason I was prevented- from getting to see Any of those 4 concerts. Just a lot of wasted money & time & weird that I thought it was my fault missing the first two shows but when it happened 2 more times-Including Marilyn Manson cancelling a show last minute that was INDOORS due to inclement weather after I drove there on icy roads & was scared myself-then he promised to reschedule but NEVER DID & after the 4th time I figured- it's not meant to be
I also thought he was weird prior to that & believed all the over sensationalized media back in the 90s which is why I never even gave the music a chance back then.
Things Change & I decided to give the Art a chance & my own opinion in 2013-a difficult time in life.
Now that I discovered NIN-also during a difficult time & loved every song & there is no need for theatrics because the pure real emotions are enough & the concerts of late ARE JUST AS GREAT as those in the 90s.
I cannot say the same for the former from what I saw online-Yet still spent money & time to go to concerts. I also still believed him when ERW made those claims against him. Based on what I knew-the facts of the case & everything else. I did see though that he was not a good influence on Trent at all. I saw he admired Trent & seemed to want to one up him instead of just bring thankful Trent signed him to his label & tried to be his friendl; I didn't like that Marilyn Manson seemed to be competing with Trent Reznor when there is just No comparison.
A Trent Reznor he will never be-Sorry.

      @@Crunkachu That's a very interesting story man!
I don't know...I just like to separate enjoying the music and the artistic value from the artists lifestyle and personality because I think it's dangerous to merge those two. As you can see a lot of kids get into a lot of satanic crap, drugs, horrible lifestyles etc. just because their "idol" does it, and I always thought that's stupid, even back then as a teenager.
Nowadays when I'm in my 30s I'm so glad I wasn't that typical impressionable kiddo who started adopting the sick lifestyle of my favourite music artists, and yet I still enjoy the music and still listen to NIN very often!
I'm so freaking proud of that part of myself man :D
Either way I think that Manson as a person is terrible, but some of his songs are great, especially those produced by Trent. Again, the songs, not him :D
