"You'd still get a grown ass president denying any wrongdoing, though..." -- "Yeah, you're right, nothing has changed." Who is this interviewer ? I don't watch Aussie TV, should I ?
Hannah's got both feet firmly planted on earth. She describes exactly how frustrating it is to be on the high functioning autism spectrum. My girl used to come home full of conversations from school where she'd been off kilter with teachers, and the bizarre reactions her teachers had to her take on things. 😀🦋🌻
I think that Hannah is very funny-- I laughed through the majority of her one- woman show (you know, the comedy parts) and was stunned, saddened, shocked, and honestly marveled at her honestly in telling the truth of what life's been like for her (the other parts of her show). The show was funny AND somber at different times -- and that's a tough balance, but Hannah did it and did it well. She is extremely quick and intelligent and has managed not to respond, in kind, to the many trolls in our world. Good on ya, Hannah! If you're ever in the Perth area, I'd like to shout you a cuppa tea!
i thought it was horrible. lacked any comedy whatsoever, i understand people find different things funny, but her telling her problems and blaming men isn't comedy. it is a feminist just complaining about all men, yet not calling it out that it is actually very few men.
Arguably the hardest working comedian in the world and one of the most enduring anti-bullying advocates there has ever been send Hannah loving tweets. And they're both women. This makes me warm and fuzzy. Now, bring on the blokes...
Angela Lovell I could believe you if she said anything funny...ever. Her last special was about quitting comedy and she went on at length about how she was raped. What hilarious stuff...
Echo Bluff yeah, I watched it because of everyone shitting on it. I only laughed at her joke about her mom saying she wouldn't tell her if she was a murderer. After half an hour though, it got super lame and I bailed.
Angela Lovell 😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝If I met a pig who studies astronomy, then I would concur with your opinion. Opinions are not facts, thank goodness. Now, bring on the tartletts!🤣
Echo Bluff That is so profoundly ignorant about what comedy is. I suggest you read about it, dig a little bit and try to be kind... it's a classic. The culture of perpetual comfort is very damaging, for our brains, bodies and hearts. Who says comedy has to be all giggly?
AvidiaNirvana There's something seriously wrong with your humor amígdala... I'm guessing your jam is being a bully? Yes? Am I detecting empathy disorder?
In lieu of a twitter account here is my published review on the official Ticketmaster Fan Reviews and Photos. 5 Stars Hannah Gadbsy - Nanette was inciteful. Comedy Theatre - Melbourne - Sat 29 Apr 2017 Posted 09/05/2017 by Smiellies This Fan's Reviews Once in a lifetime performance, Hannah Gasbys' timing was almost flawless. It was over before I knew it and would have gone to next performance if not sold out. I left the theater with a new and articulate perspective of what is to be a human. Favourite moment: Imagining the sound of tea cup being placed on a saucer. 2 of 2 found this review helpful.
I laughed lots of times and empathized with her life experiences. As this interview shows, she has a quick wit and I hope she does more or posts more of her 'fine art' interpretation videos. She has a brilliance totally her own.
Once the fucking nbn gets sorted out and i finally have my fucking internet back after several weeks (and several hundreds in mobile data charges), i will definitely watch nanette. (:

I'm just wondering if anybody here finds her new special " Nanette" really funny ? It's a touching story but I didn't laugh at all and I'm curious if others did . I find Nanette to be an interesting TED talk but not a comedy special .
I didn't find it funny... I understand how some would laugh at the parts where there are jokes (but defs not my style of humour...). But I don't understand the labelling of the other components of the special as 'comedy,' and I don't know why they'd be put into a stand-up show...
Rohypno tist yes. She’s a great comedian found out about her when she was on the tv show please like me. Nanette was no different, until it was then I started thinking more on the jokes and it gave even deeper look into myself. Nanette was amazing.
She's spot on about how the Monica Lewinski scandal would be handled today and it absolutely wrecks me.
Every time I see her, I love her a little bit more. 🥰
I love the idea of Sweet Tweets and Hannah had a funny response to all of them!
MewWolf5 so this is what humor is these days?
an ace flag!😻

Who is this interviewer ? I don't watch Aussie TV, should I ?
Its Charlie Pickering.
The interviewer is as bad at journalism as Hannah is at jokes
tim howard and you at life.
I love her so much she’s inspired me in so many ways
Sweet tweets is such a good idea! Loved it! xo
I loved this as well; and am so thankful for Hannah Gadsby!

A was at the filming of Nanette with a person I no longer have any contact with, but I thank her very much for introducing me to Hannah Gadsby.
Lol alright then
Your lesbian ex-lover? Didn't really conceal much, there.
Stikibits
You and her former lesbian lover love lesbian therapy.... brilliant!
what a treasure
Truly respect and admire her 🌺
the most adorable lady EVER
I'd like to see a whole lot of "Hannah"-thinking people in charge of our world. I have an idea things would soon right themselves.

"Inciteful"? Either you're ignorant or that was a most satirical and insightful comment.
Hannah Gadsby is amazing!
Fay Champoux I agree. Amazingly bad.
Isn't Twitter being used for love a sign of the Apocalypse?
Come on, you’re all over this internet. You know love exists.
I also love Hannah
Hannah! ❤❤❤

Love her
❤️❤️❤️
1:12 what does she say here? can't make out what she says here. after "it's..."
"it's an hour & 7, Kathy Griffin," as in the length of her netflix special.
"It's an hour and seven (minutes), Kathy Griffin"
It’s an hour and 7 Kathy Griffin
"It's an hour and seven" (minutes long) :)

Love her responses, but they seem to be deflections.

Yes, I found it very funny and laughed out loud a lot.
Yes I laughed, I find Hannah really funny in the way she delivers and twists and turns. I guess you just didn't get it.
Rohypno tist I found parts of it very funny but most of it just very very sad true and brave.
She's not funny but seems like a good person.
And what exactly does "totally betrayed" mean?
Michael Clarke I don't think you're being honest with us, old man.
Why is Micheal Clarke comment so implausible...jeez dismissive snowflakes wall to wall
She's not the worst comic, but seems vastly over-hyped.
Well I for one, disagree!
andikav2004 I for one agree. Over hyped.
I wouldn't have known about it if they hadn't. So, I'm glad they alerted me to THE show of 2018.
Mehhhh, she s not funny at all...
