Canadians forced to dig through five feet of snow after blizzard hits Nova Scotia

- Canadians were up to their armpits in snow this week as blizzards blanketed parts of Nova Scotia, in the east of the country.
Around five feet of snow fell on the island of Cape Breton, prompting officials to declare a state of emergency, with highways closed and residents trapped in their homes.
Some locals ventured out to document the snowstorm, however.
One woman, wrapped up against the cold in a hooded coat and balaclava, filmed herself leaping into the snow - shaking her head in disbelief as she plunged downwards.
Another video showed a woman attempting to claw her way through a head-height wall of snow, as the blizzard continued around her.
After about 30 seconds of digging, she managed to shake lose enough of the snow to expose part of her car, which had been totally buried in the snow.

Actually it snowed in Nova Scotia. Which is in Canada. And I wouldn’t mind visiting Buffalo. I like snow.

I remember years ago we use to have lots of snow and no snow plow.

I’m not so sure…I’m in Alberta and last week we saw +15C. Only about 60% of normal snowpack in the mountains. I think it’s now called “climate change”.
Its like April here in Ontario, I've only worn my winter coat three times. Only about 50cm of snow so far and used to get 300-400 cm.
No snow throwers or shovels in Canada?
snow is too wet and heavy. a crawler loader tractor had to plow my road after 4 city plows got stuck.
