    Rick,
    Very Informative Video!!
Do you know what is the related ISO standard for making a sprocket (either forging / milling)?

Unfortunately I don't get the explanation. Would you be so nice to do another video on that with a spoken more detailed explanation??? Thanks a lot

I downloaded the software, scrolled for the standard sprocket parameters and picked the #40 sprocket. The #40 sprocket roller diameter is .3125 inches. Thats correct according to the Machinists Handbook, but the software creates the dxf sketch with a .3125 diameter roller pocket also. That would work in a perfect world, but there is endmill push-off, machine tolerances, chain pitch tolerances, etc. that would prevent the chain from working on the sprocket. Machinists Handbook explains. Later,RT.

Sir Rick Taylor, I Would like to draw 16 teeth - 3" Sprocket with roller dia 1.25" for CNC programme(For teeth cutting) Please tell me Can I follow the same instruction?

1.25" roller is too big for that size sprocket, especially with 16 teeth.

I used the LINE command, the FILLET command, the CIRCLE command, and the RECTANGLE command. Then, I used the TRIM command.

Can u specify the dimensions of the holes please specially the hole that 21 tooth #40 is written on it?
Are the dimensions of the hole of standard size?
Can u send the link of the file or the site u used to make the sprocket? I remember seeing on the net but cant remember where
