to grow up with these games is a honour. I am 26 years old an hearing those masterpiece made me tear up.

I double booked when they had a The Legend of Zelda Orchestra Concert in my country. I had booked a vacation to Spain the same week so gave away my ticket to a friend. Choosing the one week vacation over the concert might be my biggest regret yet. They do such amazing work.

Personally no, but I've always had an affinity for them. Some of my best friends played in high school and I loved watching them practice! I personally play percussion.

They missed the big crash cymbal, bass drum, and timpani hits in the sections where they build up dynamics like in BOTW's theme.

Hi, nice to see your reaction, it was a beautiful concert. I'm a bit lost though, what happened? Was this concert supposed to be a live thing? If so, Why was it cancelled? You mention something about that in 32:46.
Nintendo staff has been receiving death threats, that's why they decided to cancel the event. It was for the safety of the staff and the people who will be attending.

Did you just say the SIMPLICITY of the clarinet? I am very offended as a clarinet player that you think that shit is simple. It's quite possible the hardest thing I've done.
Edit: Also, I very much need them to do a Hyrule Fantasy Symphony and include music from the Hyrule Warriors games (mainly Age of Calamity, which also has the best versions of the Champion themes), and maybe the Tingle games, too(?) along with music from the mainline Zelda games.
People who've never played an instrument just don't understand how difficult it can be
@@azenar1894 Supposedly she's a percussionist, and I don't think she was referring to actually playing the clarinet, but still.
@joshua_swanson I'm a percussionist as well but I wouldn't put down another instrument each has their own difficulties
@@azenar1894 Again, I think she was talking less about the skill required to play the Clarinet, but more about the sound it produced. But my reaction was still very much one of surprise and confusion at the time.
Actually I think she was more so referring to the orchestration. There wasn’t anything fancy being done with her theme, just a “simple” clarinet as opposed to the string section with dense harmonies and such, or the woodwind section, etc. I didn’t get the implication that the clarinet was easy or that sound produced was simple. Just my thought on it!
Recent Zelda Music has fallen. For example, it was good to have a little more, but it was good until the Skyward Sword ... 😅
