I am doing presentation about cyclophosphamide I want to know what’s the problem of cyclophosphamide and how can i solve it In my opinion it’s cytotoxic inactive but in liver it will convert as ph.mustard as active alkylating agent and ttt cancer Is this correct??
Simply bioavailability indicates how much of the drug enters in to the blood and in how much time. Suppose when a 500 mg of a tablet is taken, 400 mg of the drug is absorbed in that then it indicates 80% bioavailability. But if the same tablet takes 10 hours for complete absorption, it may be slowly releasing or it may have poor absorption. So If a drug has optimal onset of action and maximum extent absorbed, it will have better bioavailability.
