I saw Phil’s side of this. For Cellbit viewers, our mans was fking DEAD 😂 It was like 1-2AM in the UK and he’d been streaming for 7-8 HOURS and wanted to go to bed like twenty minutes before Cellbit logged on. They’re never on at the same time so he stayed up to deliver all the evidence 😂
The man knows that Cellbit is the one that eventually gonna know everything what happen in the island, he wanna recover both of his sons as well, I think they two are a great duo as well, phil been the most trustful person in the island
I love how despite not liking to be too much into lore, Philza is a really reliable investigator to Cellbit Good to have someone besides Roier and the favelas to help him with the order

Every single person in this comment section saying "Phil soesnt do lore" is clearly not a Philza streams watcher. Lore isnt just big events, and dramatic acts, and conflict. Phil's roleplay and lore is much more subtle and yall need to get that. Phil is canonically married to a godess, he has traveled multiple realities and worlds (his current hardcore world is canon in the server, as are all the adventures he has gone through in it and his past hardcore worlds as well), he was a warlord and conquered the entire world with techno (SMP Earth is also canon in the serverm this is how he and fit know eachother since long ago), he has said from the beginning his wings got clipped from the federation sometime while he was on the train. the events of the birdhouse and all that has come after that??? absolutely insane amounts of implications about what his connections might be to whatever is breaking into quesadilla island. hell just recently he said how he specifically always keep the backpack on himseld becaus ehis wings are so damaged that he needs the counterwight for balance. ALL OF THAT IS LORE. PHILZA FUCKING LOVES LORE. it's just not what YOU ALL think of as lore. and that's fucking stupid. the thing is, all of his heavy backstory just ammounts to: Q!Phil knows danger, he knows how risky certain actions can be, and he does NOT want to be part of conflict (he came to this island supposedly on a vacation, for god's sake), and even less so after getting the responsability of a CHILD to take care of, TWO of them later on. he considers THEIR safety and caring for them first, before his own need or want for adventure. when things happen that are potential danger for the eggs he Will Not Get Involved. and then on the meta sense: until the french and the most recent batch of creators joined, 90% of the big "lore events" started by the time that phil was either about to leave, or already gone. so how tf was he supposed to be involved??
Back in the day too... During old dsmp days philza had always a very subtle lore... One of the icon moment being killing his own son... So yeah the subtle detail that Philza adds just pushes the viewer to pay very close attention to it thus sometimes viewers feel it's not lore...
@@deadlocklee yep, as someone who's super into ttrps and roleplay in general, his way of subtly dropping lore and things that can and will be revisited in the future is my favorite it's just sad seeing people absolutely ignore all the lore he does just because it's not big and flashy like others'
It also is important to remember that Philza's character is seen as a father figure, someone who people can trust to protect and help them, someone who is really nice and super chill, with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Because of this, Phil rarely gets involved in conflicts or takes sides in arguments because he doesn't want to lose those relationships with other people. As far as I can tell, the only times Philza has been aggressive with others on the QSMP are these: q!Forever not respecting q!Philza's boundaries so q!Philza had to put his foot down about the romance thing q!Quackity threatening the safety of q!Philza's sons, granddaughter, and platonic husband The Federation trapping him on the island and clipping his wings The Binary Entities attacking the eggs Purgatory, where they were separated into different teams and aggressive to other teams by default All of these were the result of someone threatening the safety of Philza and/or his family members. He doesn't take part in petty arguments, so he isn't involved in that part of the lore. Also, he has to stay up really late to attend most events, so that is also a struggle for him.
