Who doesn’t love a monster truck? Couldn’t wait to get hold of Team Associated’s MT12 when it was announced, this is fresh in the UK stores and mine came from Our good friends over @insidelinemodels In this video I take it for a blast and see if I can crush some cars. Cool lil truck, Andy! Seems to go well considering the 380 motor but as you say it'll be easy to make it go even quicker! Great overview fella, looking forward to more! 😎😎👍👍

Ah, what a cool idea to bring those body shells, that's some proper Monster Truck action, just like in the 80'ies!
I think 12th scale is great for this, a bit less huge to have for many people I guess, plus can keep the price point down a bit, no idea what it costs, ha ha...

Hey Mads they are about £200 in the UK , yes I/12th is easier to cart about than say a 1/10 or a proper clod Buster . Good fun as well but needs another battery with it ideally. I’d been saving those shells as well for a video like this ;) take care mate

The tamiya definitely has more character to it. The Associated is nice and solid as does what it’s supposed , pretty impressed with it , just could be a little quicker
Saw your video and decided to pick this up. For the price I think it's great. It's also usable in my apartment as long as I turn the throttle down a little bit. I can't run a brushless trucks indoors lol I could but I don't like putting holes in my walls lol

@@andyrobinsonrc2480I love this truck! The body looks beautiful, has anyone driven it at 18 or 19 mph? If I drive it at 20 mph I will sweep the transmission gears? greetings (the only thing I don't like is that it reaches about 13 mph)

Yeah I thought Tomley already had his video out a couple of days ago, maybe he was late ? They are good fun and I’m sure you could upgrade them easily enough for sone extra speed and battery duration
What would be nice if a company would start selling rubber mirrors and stuff like that for all our models
It would ;) however the mirrors on the associated monster van are much more flexible than on this one :)
Nice overview and run Andy! I had to glue my mirrors on as well; I’m sure they’ll snap off on the next run!😂
I put some led’s in the roll bar, they’re a nice touch.
I need to get mine back out with a different battery.

It may not have a high top end speed but it seems to accelerate pretty quick looks like a fun truck and Team Associated is the best.
I love team associated especially their 90s/early 2000 race buggy’s. Trucks pretty cool, I rather like it myself , just waiting to put it up against the Tamiya now
I would love to have one. How much is it in US dollars? I just think you could put a Tamiya 380 sport tuned in it.
Hi Brad it’s about $255 in US Dollars but it just maybe a little cheaper in the US anyway. Yes you could put a sport tuned in it ;) maybe a good idea ;)

Was waiting fir a og but prices are crazy. So just got a rere. Loving the build so far. Love to see your take on it. “No box art” please. 😂
Cheers , I did a review on the Hot Shot 2 Blockhead edition a few month ls back. And I plan on getting the boomerang rere due out in a month or so. I don’t usually do box art it’s rare that I do.

I’d of preferred 1/10th as well but it’s still a good little truck it’s Like a Tamiya pumpkin sort of size
I agree with Paul down below. I'd rather get some more nostalgia like a black foot. I don't like that style of RC. They seem so flimsy.
Fair enough , it’s not for everyone, I don’t think the car itself is flimsy just the body shell in certain areas , if your after pure nostalgia this is isn’t the way to go
