I want to add my name to this too. SHINee got me into Kpop. Over time I sorta got out if it as more of the groups I listened to stopped putting out music or just disbanded. Stray Kids brought me back again.
I'll never forget the hype for this album w/ Jjong's shirtless pics and Taemin's weave and everyone's anger at SM for the ad that you can't click away, because it made it difficult for gif makers lmao. Legendary era.
i'll never get tired of saying this, scherlock choreo is not only the most expensive choreo in kpop, but it's also THE BEST Choreo in kpop , its so fascinating and so pleasing to the eye.
When this song came out, of course I liked it, and found the choreo to be fascinating. What I didn’t foresee is how exquisite and timeless this song would feel in the future. This is peak k-pop.
most people in the general public unfortunately didn't really like this song. I think Jonghyun has even alluded to that once, how Sherlock kinda tanked on the charts. Luckily though, it did become iconic due to their style and the choreography, paired with their amazing live performances of Sherlock.

I think this is my favorite kpop dance routine, because they really make use of the fact that there are FIVE DANCERS, instead of just doing the same dance moves in sync, which is impressive too of course, but I like to see a group really working together and I feel like they do that here... go shinee!

내 나이 거의 서른이 다 되었을 때 이 노래 무대를 보고도 완성도에 충격을 받았는데, 다시금 이만큼의 충격을 줄 노래가 나올까싶다(부디 나왔으면 좋겠다..) 이후로 국위선양하는 많은 아이돌 그룹이 나왔지만, 그냥 한 명의 리스너, 시청자의 입장으로 나에게 이 정도의 충격은 아직까지 없다.
I absolutely love how every transition in this dance flows so well, you don't even realize that they changed positions at some points! It's a pet peeve of mine to see group members simply walk into position when transitioning to another part of the dance(ik it's necessary, especially for groups with more members, but still), so that's a breath of fresh air! Sherlock has one of, if not the best, choreographies in kpop for sure.

This song came out when I was a teenager. I didn't listen to kpop then and probably wouldn't have liked it then. Since I started listening to kpop I went back and discovered so many older gems like this one. I feel so sorry for all the kpop fans who don't know or refuse to acknowledge that kpop didn't start with their favourites. What Shinee especially has done for kpop is incredible. This choreography is iconic.
How did I let them become so important to me...sometimes it just scares me how much I care for these five like it's crazy..I'm a fan I love them and if anything ever happens to them I think I would loose my mind..they are my bias group and I like to say that they choose me because honestly they did they captured me with their talents and characters..I love SHINee in my mind they do no wrong and I will never regret getting to know them!

SM이 남돌에서 뽑아낼수 있는 최대치를 보여준 곡. 이때부터 샤이니가 실력파 아이돌로 확실하게 자리 잡기 시작했지. 이전에 루시퍼-링딩동으로 이어지면서 남자들에겐 다소 놀림 받는 그룹이었는데 셜록은 남자들도 인정안할 수 없었음. 아마 View 와 함께 남자들도 좋아하는 샤이니 곡 중 한곡이지 싶음.
I like how the beginning and the ending are the same moves. Looking at this choreo now, I can see clearly why it cost so much. The transitions and position changes are so smooth. The waterfalls/dominoes in this to are amazing. And how the choreo uses all the space.

This song came out when I was a teenager. I didn't listen to kpop then and probably wouldn't have liked it then. Since I started listening to kpop I went back and discovered so many older gems like this one. I feel so sorry for all the kpop fans who don't know or refuse to acknowledge that kpop didn't start with their favourites. What Shinee especially has done for kpop is incredible. This choreography is iconic.
