Im kicking the same road now! France is amazing to ride down! I made a stop to work in the wineyards! For all you travelers out there, I could highly recommend to enjoy France by bike! You just get to places nobody normally gets to, and people are amazingly nice! Next trip, Holland to India!
This is really an inspiring video. I'm from Malaysia and i hope one day i can across the world by bike because that's my dream, to travel the world. It's just so wonderful to meet new people, exchange the story, idea, knowledge and experience, having memorable thought and view into this wonderful world. Well right now I'm 18 and i still need to learn and prepare many things. I also hope to find my lifepartner who has a same passion like me, like you both. When in America, the ride to Alaska by bike seems the best getaway from life. It's almost 5,000 miles away from where I live. I almost did this ride once back in February of 2016, got 300 miles in and turned back, because thought I wasn't ready to face the extreme challenges I would've probably faced in Alaska with probable homelessness, and was too old for such a young man's getaway, I was 35 years old, maybe if I was 18-24 would've kept on. But when I got to Flagstaff I spent almost 3 hours at a freeway turnoff contemplating the push to Anchorage, felt the butterflies in my stomach too, especially after all the climbing I'd already done, 30 miles of 8 percent grade highway but no, I turned back to go home. And here I am, stuck in an old story, when another me is experiencing a life in Alaska for the past 3 years!
@Sandy Castles my circumstance, was in a job going nowhere, had a gambling problem, wanted to getaway from it all and start a new life, but was 35 years old! If I had been 25 would've probably kept on for Alaska.

France is one of the most beautiful counties to make a bike trip in (I’m Dutch; we know a thing or two about cycling). My advice: cycle along the Canal du Midi. It’s great.
