i saw at the beginning your runes is presence of mind, why this over triumph ?

Presence of mind is pretty good on irelia because your main trading Pattern is to Q a low HP minion, auto and Q away. PoM regens part of that mana letting you trade almost for free while sustaining through. Strong lane phase rune. It's useful lategame aswell to avoid mana issues

@@pizzalamander but irelia does lots of dives, surely you need sustain for close fights as irelia is someone who 1v2s and 1v3s

@nightloot4 Suppose it's up to personal preference but if you can trade with them while healing and keeping your mana then you'd eventually create a HP differential big enough to just outright dive while being pretty healthy yourself. I personally never run triumph, always PoM. Irelking did the same pre hullbreaker build

what about revitalise over unflinching? i guess it makes sense, rev will give more value over the game ur healing more than getting CC’d

@nightloot4 matchup dependant. Some lanes are a breeze with revitalise. Also most of the time you'll be CCd you should be channeling W to mitigate damage thus making the extra armour and MR from unflinching less valuable. It lingers for a bit afterwards but given how your job is to dive backline, the important part of the fight ends rather quickly

Sometimes I attack with right click sometimes I use attack move, depends on my mood😂, but I always use right click on 1v1s and teamfights
