Thanks for this video and demonstration. Which hues in this range are closest to primary red, yellow, and blue?
Technically, there is no such thing as set standard "primary" colors - it changes from brand to brand. Within the Charvin Acrylic line specifically, they do call out their primaries: Magenta Red Primary, French Yellow Primary, and Primary Cyan. However, you could also search for the pigment codes that have been consistently used across several brands: PR144 for Red, PY74 or PY83 for Yellow, and PB15:3 for Blue. That would give you more single-pigment options, like Quinacridone Magenta, Phthalo Blue (Green Shade), and Hansa Yellow, which will also translate across brands much better!
