No offense, but stock g5 leds are the same if not better to g4 with leds. My brother has g5, my g4 with those leds is not any better( I would say worst by about 10%) than his g5 lights. It's still worth upgrading g4 lights, but it would not be better than G5s trail sleds. ( I have g5 summit and it's a different story to tell, lights are ok but this is it)
@kerktam no offense taken. I'm not trying to sell anyone here, if you don't think they are any better then great, that's your opinion. I tried to make a video that included as much real world testing as I could. I can't speak to a G5 summit lights as they are different than these.
As for stock G5 VS G4 with these bulbs...when looking at the overhead drone shots in my test I think it's pretty obvious and hard to argue that the Sii bulbs are brighter and have more "throw" but if you personally think that the stock G5 light is "better" without any actual data then you certainly allowed to think that as well but I disagree.

The G5 LED's are a significant upgrade from the G4 Headlight but yeah I was surprised as well in how much better the Sii bulbs did.
The thing is that skidoo like car manifacture have to obey some rules and cant make the brithest light and blind people so it is easy to understand why a bulb could beat them.
At close to 200$ they better be bright.
Back when I first got the Gen 5 we did a comparison with the b2 stingers in my wife’s sled they blew the Gen 5 lights out of the water.. the Gen 5 low beam is absolutely terrible I don’t think I have used low beam all season..
@Corey Brock lol It's definitely surprising. The G5 headlight seems to come from the factory adjusted WAY too low. Once I adjusted it I'd say it's pretty good.
@@BeaverTailToys we were told by a higher up they the lumen output is as much as they can do in regards to standards..if that’s true who knows..

The are a sealed unit No changing anything few years aftermarket led bulbs will be a thing of past for doos as they will be all gen 5

@@krankysledzz on high beam you learn to live with them.. they are a more defined beam over an h13 bulb I find
