The 140% guy HAS to be a troll, you just can‘t be THAT delusional.
People that are high in the dark triad personality traits such as narcissists and sociopaths are like this. He sounds absolute text book for it. They are definitely delusional and make no mistake will make absolute ball ache and hell for people around them
"The guilty button should be 140% bigger" The truest of true's I've ever seen from a twitch chat on that last story.
OMFG the rant that preach does of the tank at the end of the first story has me in tears!

Redemption story: Ok, yes, I murdered that family and collected their checks for weeks. But I only thought it was like 105% wrong. Finding out it was 140% was very much news to me and I am the real victim here.
I thought I murdered 105% of the family but I was deceived into murdering 140%. Please pity me.
When you said "he hated mop because it was nothing but Pokemon and teddy bears" I just lost it!! Then you put that teddy bear head on and that was the end.... 20 minutes of solid uncontrollable laughter!!!! Nice!!!!
Drama Time is absolutely legendary. I thank you, sir. For a lot of good laughs over the years. I've also learned about a lot of red flags to look out for with guilds and new guild members lol

1st story - the main reason for the Dungeon wipe and the crappy group …… Alliance players.
The complete tool in the last story is a textbook sociopath. Never wrong, it's always everyone else, your just misunderstanding him. Patting himself on the back the entire time, disgusting!
Jenn- We had a Brewmaster tank in MoP who died almost immediately for 6 weeks straight when finally got recount and realized the BM had never used Black Out Kick the entire raid.
When I asked him why he never used BoK he said it wasn't on his bar. When I told him BoK was how he kept up stagger he got angry and rage quit the raid and logged out.
The guild officers backed the BM tank because he was a very nice guy and helped many people, but he was the worst tank we ever saw. I had tricks of the trade on him and still pulled agro off him with auto attacks only. Eventually, half the raid quit the guild.
The dk is like... I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. wipes in boralus +2. I watched rouges do less damage then a fresh maxed healer. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time for the next random m+ ;)

That last story....just gave me shivers down my spine. Had too many run ins with people like that....not on loot but believing they were entitled to 15+ or higher keys that I work on during the season 4 of BFA.

I love how he blames the Loot Council and his guildies for awarding him on the false damage HE falsified. It's their fault they believed him? I hope he isn't this type of person in real life. The narcissism is unbelievable.
For the "Oops" story, it's possible that "jersey" is a person who has all of his life going badly, except for when playing wow, so for his fragile mind the idea of being "betrayed" by guildies just leads him over the edge. In such a case it'd also explain why he just blocks it out, 'cause he needs to be in the guild to feel that he's doing good again...
I dunno if this is the case, but it feels like that kind of story.
The first story feels too real. It's giving me the worst flash backs of when I tanked M+ in Legion (obviously not playing BFA)

Funny that damage meter guy when I heard that story in the previous video I thought to myself. 40% is much too high an increase, he shoukd have dine 5% max to try and mask his deception.
His reply this video has to be a troll answer, it was very entertaining to listen and watch the chat explode as his redemption story went on.
What I expected when the 140% guy got asked for an appeal: "I am guilty but I wasn't aware the numbers were skewed that much and it isn't fair that my accomplices got away scott-free."
What we got: "I actually am, in fact, *THAT MUCH* of a delusional bastard."

46:52 That is EXACTLY what I did in Nighthold during Legion. Many of the core raiders were not getting invited after a Co GM wanted to only invite his friends. So we made our characters on Alliance. By the time the last raid tier of the game hit, the Co GM and GM split up and I was kicked from the guild while I was offline. And I have yet to set foot on Azeroth ever since.

Yo its crazy... i can relate to this guy...im 36 and been playing wow since vanilla. I play solo , am a casual due to work and marriage. Can't get into anything than a mythic +10 pug and don't know anyone that plays wow. I started playing guild wars 2... fucken awesome game btw! But have been thinking about quitting wow!!! Maybe we have just been playing wow for too long. Since cataclysm... the wow player base has just felt more and more disconnected from the game...it feels like people don't enjoy the game anymore like they did in vanilla , bc , or wrath.
Oh well time to move if shadowlands doesn't make the game feel different.... guild wars 2 is my suggestion as an alternative to wow.... i think its much better than wow in a lot of ways.
Next time that guy comes around. Just show him chat logs or something. Make it the message of the day. Will he quit again or just forget it ever happened? I was part of a guild that had characters like this before as well. We made sure they never lived down that sort of stuff.
The meters guy has to be just joking.... He's just trying to mock the audience as a politician would.
It's possible he's an actual narcissist, who will behave this way. They will lie about how amazing they are because their narcissism makes them feel like this is how people should see them, and so it isn't lying to lie but actually "correcting" the *misimpression* that people would get of them from them having told the truth.
A lot of people who are a bit too self-obsessed will be labeled narcissists, but people who would get the diagnosis do legit act this way. They get away with it a lot of the time too, because most people think it unbelievable that someone could actually behave this way. You really don't want one of these people at your workplace...
@@MrCattlehunter It's also possible that he somehow genuinely believes that he's the victim, it almost sounds impossible to imagine, but there are people like that. People who'll screw everyone over in the universe, and will whine about being unfairly treated even when someone asks them what the f*** they're up to.
There's of course also the posibility that the guy's a troll and that the story was a fake one to begin with and he's just pulling the leg of Drama Time (I personally hope this is the case).

We wanted to mearch with another Guild but the other Tank didn't know the Healer cooldowns and made a list of all the Cd's of all healers and pinned it to his monitor but he allways asked for only the same cd even if we dont had the class as a healer in our raid. He died on Organzola in the last phase and our good tank instandly took other and used priest grips to get us the kill. And yeah we didn't merch with the guild and just rebuild the old guild. and we made it to top 1200 in the world ( we could have gotten top 700 but 2 raidweeks were called off ) we needed only 177 Pulls to kill N'zoth

wait if he only did 10% more than everyone else with a 40% increase that means he was actually far worse than average it means he was doing about 78% of the others dmg. so knowing the knowledge he knows now if he still thinks he deserved anything at all he is completely delusional or really bad at arithmetic

the shortest ive ever had a tank is on the launch of classic we went for server first rag (we got it without him), and we couldve killed it way sooner if the tank had been able to use intercept to come back after being knocked back by rag... but he never did the zerker stance quest and he kept telling our GM that it was stupid and unneccessary and to "REFUTE IT!" ... my god....... so yeah, steps up to tank for 1 day then gets kicked for being an asshole about it.
I now watch drama time when he uploads its just to fun .....
A yes Spriest a wipe on underrot, where you can mass dispel multiple missed kicks, bone shields, disease dispel on third boss for easy shrooms then able to mass dispel on last boss debuff as well making the fight near trivial if you just stack lol.
Loot guy really pisses me off. He's giving a super villain speech in his defense and everyone can see through it. I can't tell if he has convinced himself of this or is he trolling us?

I think all that DK did was shut down the argument by pleasing the hunter, and got his shit done on time because of it. I don't think he cared how stupid that hunter was, he just wanted his damn key.

As a tank, this is why I dont pug. So when you dps are waiting for over an hour to find a tank, you can blame every player out there that acts like the hunter.
If I need to take care of a bunch of kids, I need to get paid.
This story is why I do not pug anymore everyone thinks they are a god tier player and most are trash

I started nin BC and my mate made me go Prot warrior and it was a big learning curve to get to a god tank that people asked for but by the time BT came out I had a list of healers who would ask me every week to tank their heroics and then tanked through BT
I'm convinced most of these DT stories are fake, but the way Preach reads them is so entertaining it doesn't even matter.
Or at least super hyperbolized. Like those stories where there's guilds who can't clear normal mode for months.

I felt that
One of the BIGGEST warning flags when joining a guild or talking to them about joining. And you find out the GM or even a couple of the officers are married/dating to another officer or raider. I have never once seen this work out well for these guilds in the long haul. Because without FN fail. The "Female" (please note this isn't a rant against women in gaming or some Kotaku dipshit crap) in these relationships find something they want to flaunt theirs or their spouses position around at the other members of the guild. The worst of this was in a guild on Illidan US back during Cata. The GM was a good player and a good raid leader. Our core raid team was a solid group of players in around 12 to 14 players. And they skull dragged the rest of the raid to 2 weekly 25 man clears in Dragon Soul Heroic weekly. Plus 4 10 man heroic clears with about 4 to 5 Heroic Firelands runs done weekly as well. We easily raided weekly more than any other guild on the server save maybe Blood Legion back when they were still a thing. We had a good thing going hell we even did Challenge modes clearing sales as a side thing as well. And through it all the GM's wife played a disc priest. And she was god FN Awful at it. She was so atrocious at it that our other healers were basically 4 healing 25 Heroics. That's how shit she was at healing. We all knew she was shit. But we genuinely enjoyed raiding with the GM aka the husband of this dumpster fire he called a wife lol. She was nasty as hell to people if they even remotely hinted at her healing was shit lol. And throw around the fact that she was the GM's wife and was OWED a raid spot........OWED a raid spot. Needless to say the guild shattered one night when she finally pushed certain peoples buttons one too many times. I have seen this sort of thing played out in other guilds and its always ended poorly in varying degrees. But she was the worst case I have seen to this date. But then Shadowlands is still ahead right? lol.

Yeah two weeks ago I was leveling my brewmaster. I was doing Motherload. The hunter kept pulling trash as we went through the dungeon and I kept saving them. Finally I pulled a pack at the same time that the Hunter decided to pull a pack behind me but I didn't see it. It resulted in a wipe in which the uh dk blamed me.
I told him not my fault, the hunter pulled when I didn't see it, the DK said "LoL ok, that's why the healer left".
That's when I dropped grp.
Looking forward to your UI again Preach. My only complaint with the old one during early and mid BFA was no specific tracker included for demonology warlock things and shenannigans with blizzard raid frames
About that story "Accurate Portrayal". Blood Dk, first in overall dmg done. First in overall damage taken: author. Almost choked on my drink at that hunter impression from Mike 😂😂 man's not right in the head 😂 also, while talking about the tank "that (pug) tank is so numb, he never cums" ahahah
