Wow, I have stood at the view point before on the border, but I wasn't allowed to continue up the road you went, no passport on me!!! That was great cheers
I was thinking it’s very clear and then you said your using the GoPro 👍 halfway through when your standing on that balcony what view looking down on the village and the mountain tops awesome 👍👍🙏🙏
Believe it or not i have been down this road twice before and this is the first time we stopped there . They had only opened the border at Mae Sai to go into Myanmar 2 days previous so they were still checking everyone who was in the area still a bit of tension with the military coup in Myanmar . Cheers Derek
Yes they are Thai army check points . At that point in time the mae sai border had only been open 2 days so still on high alert from people coming over the border . The day before i was probably 20 or 30 miles south of here and just riding near the border and come to a dead end some ladies were laying out leaves at the side of the road . i asked them what they were doing and they said drying black tea leaves then i asked them where i was Mae Chan but if i walk up to the top of the hill i would be in Myanmar no fences or border posts i suppose it's hard to police a border probably a 1000 miles long. Cheers
