When I did PCT in 2021 I was in stormed from the JT through Sonora pass it’s no joke coming down golden staircase lighting strikes all around me my hair was literally standing up from the charged granite what a rush.

Wow to those stills…loving the secret spot! 🫶 I was there in late Jan 2020 and there was the craziest storm, like huge rocks falling from the sky. That last shot was special.

Heh. I hoofed it from Lukens down to the valley on that day. Was on the switchbacks right around the time you were bailing from your spot. Trail turn into a creek. Was rough for some. Great storm shots!

I was def thinking about all the people stuck out in the open when it rolled through
Whew yea on high granite is not where you want to be in a storm like that (unless it is) Gets wet and slippery and im sure some of those spots were angled more than the camera suggests. Really great shots tho!
Was this on July 13th? If so I was on top of eagle peak when it started coming down. What an experience !
