I played my first game using Green Tide. I can confidently say its going to be the only Ork Detachment I'll use.

The planes got the speed freak keyword. They can use the speed freak strats. Dakkajet with sustained 2 with all hits count as crits =)
They didn't happen to give the wazbom the mek keyword did they ?
Desperate escape is already on a 1-2 to that new rule makes it 1-3 which is insanely gotcha against and opponent specifically if you don't tell them and they like fall back with a primary or something

The main issue I've had is that, their whole thing is more dakka, but every time I've played them their shooting is mediocre. They should be swingy, they arent accurate, but when they hit they should hit HARD.

Amazing video! Would just like to point out that a lot of new/returning players are likely to watch videos so it might be a good idea to explain what newish terms like sustained etc. mean the first time you use them. Other than that, I really appreciate the in-depth breakdown! Cheers

After the last few codices, i was fearful for my Orks. All my other armies have left me pretty uninspired with their new releases and i was fearful that the new orks codex would follow the trend of having mostly disappointing detachments with only 1-2 that feel satisfying.
Especially after seeing the custodes leaks i wasn't hopeful... but it looks like the Ork codex has fulfiled all the dreams i didn't dare to dream!
Seeing such a wide range of detachments is absolutely beaitiful.
Honestly, the only thing I'm genuinely disappointed by is the removal of badrukk. Flashgitz were always ones of my favourite tribes (coming a close second to deathskulls) and whilst there *is* still enough detachment support to run a flash-gitz style army, seeing Badrukk get legends-ed is still disappointing.
New mek model is cool... even if its rules do suffer from being a bit too middle of the road.

The new Mek looks weak but the new marine meta is flyers. If he gets sustained hits off plus his reroll 1’s if could be brutal. Leading lootas would be good against flyers dropping off in an objective 😊

A little concerned the new Combat Patrol for them is rubbish. Not very orky at all.
Since 9th, I'm very disapointed from my Greenskins. Now, you're forced to play em monothematic, what makes Orcs very boring. The clans gave a little benefit to nearly all units, the new detachments shrink the variety to a bare minimum...
