I worked in the operating room and I pity those old men undergo this kind of procedure. The doctors are so quick to insert this long metal tube to the poor man’s genitalia as if they have no pain. I can’t blame why some guys hesitated undergoing.
@@SURGICALTECHGEEK oh nothing major, having had it i have to disagree. Its so bad it makes you hesitant to pass at all. Peeing broken glass is what it feels like. Having watched this i am considering canceling my upcoming procedure. I had no idea they were that ridiculously wide.
@@SURGICALTECHGEEK This is news 2 me, i had this procedure done and it was done right in the doctors office, he had all the instruments and there was a monitor, i was told this procedure cannot be done under general anesthesia, unlike a colonoscopy this procedure is done while you are awake and all they gave me was numbing cream, which did nothing 4 pain
Think this equipment was designed for female body not to be rammed up a penis through internal sphincters in male urine tract followed by being smashed through a restriction caused by enlarged prostate .Definitely one of the procedures to avoid at almost all cost.Don’t forget syringe to penis to make it hard and jell inserted inside followed by clamp on penis to let jell stay in .Totally agony
I have had a rigid cystoscopy, i have no idea why they have to be so thick with modern technology. Its sadistic, were they are going is not as wide as that. Oh and try peeing after one, its fun feeling like your peeing glass shards.
I have,or the equivalent, three times now, and it is a bit more than uncomfortable. What I hate is all the people standing around observing and not part of the procedure.
@@hooptrappergonerapper6795 they numb you no pain just feels like you gotta pee when it happens, put something down the hole to numb it, after the numbness goes away you are peeing blood still but it will go away and feels like peeing glass
Foley is uncomfortable. The only time it was painful was when I was unable to pee for 32 hours (initially I was peeing just fine the first day after having my son, then I wasn’t able to after that; had a C section). It was painful peeing; filled up multiple bags, but the relief was worth it. This, I can’t imagine how painful this has to be.
I’ve had this done several times before for bladder cancer investigations,after operation’s to remove some of the cancer a catheter inserted,it’s about the same as having this procedure done,it’s not pleasant but they use a local anaesthetic down the tube of the penis before they insert it,it stings for a second or to but after that it’s not that bad. Don’t be afraid to have this done it’s not as bad as you imagine and the staff are who perform this are great and understand your reluctance to have it done,having a catheter removed I found more was more painful than this procedure, the secret is to try and relax while they do it,not easy but try.
Hahahha we don't touch ur balls 🤣 though we put a really Long scope in there and manipulation for hours if your stones are big and some really thick Foley catheter at the end lol.

They are under anesthesia so they won't feel it. The doctors do mentioned that it would hurt to pee for a bit but nothing major.
