F*King brilliant! I'm a huge DCS fan and I can't beleive I haven't seen this until today. Great job editing! This is a great example of what DSC engine is capable of, the level of detail is stunning!
Neither were Flankers... we would need a WW3 to break out to see ASFs falling out of the skies in numbers. "Never been shot down" is not much of an achievement for a fighter these days.
Music was nice, very good story telling, I like the imagery of man, machine, raw power and the synergy there of. Beautiful. I will use this as a template for my future creations. Very good stuff. Loved it.
I have been messing with the Interstellar soundtrack in my short film for school too, and I just kinna feel that the track you used is not exactlly fit for an opening buildup. But those are some great shots as always :D!
Wonderful music, great editing. You have a fantastic sense of framing and cinematography and timing. Really nice. The only thing that bothered me is that the frame rate appears to be quite low on some scenes making them quite 'choppy' and second that the compression on the video is quite high, but that may be an issue with UA-cam more than the codec you are using. Consider uploading a minimally compressed version to Vimeo? Keep up the good work!
Very well done =D. I'd go into detail about the framerate, but enough people have mentioned it already. If the framerate thing is just a performance thing you should look into recording with OBS instead of fraps. In my experience OBS is less intensive on your rig than fraps is.
Thanks! Yeah the framerate is a little underwhelming i agree, I used my gaming laptop to record all of this sort of as a small side project. Unfortunately I would need quite an expensive rig to run this game at 60fps.
There's no word to explain how impressive it is ! Feels like you've been given genuine director's art :) Love the soundtrack ;)
+Laura Lopez Thanks for the kind words :)
1:29 Which skin is this? Btw great Video :)
Laura Lopez Es increíble ;)
That AMRAAM over the lightning storm - one of the most epic views I have seen
I think we could all agree that storm sequence was the best thing ever
man these DCS flicks just get better and better.
this is, hands down, the BEST piece of filmmaking in video games, i have EVER seen. Well done!
The storm sequence was mind blowing!
A lot of DCS videos out there and, in my opinion, this one is one of the best. great job !
+David Renaud Thanks very much, hoping to do more in the near future :)
so much stuff in here I had not seen in DCS, great filmmaking
this is why i love games like dcs, arma etc.
sooooooo modular, making amazing films like this, is possible,
Absolutely awesome video! The shots near the end above the storm were spectacular! Very well done!
watching this over and over agin...with my friends...so o well done!
F*King brilliant! I'm a huge DCS fan and I can't beleive I haven't seen this until today. Great job editing! This is a great example of what DSC engine is capable of, the level of detail is stunning!
Thanks very much! I have two or three other DCS videos I think youd enjoy aswell! :)
+1
Btw watch out for Flanker fans, I have a feeling they might rant on this video.
Historical Innacuracy: Not one F-15 has been shot down air to air... ;D
I shoot F-15's down all the time XD
I think you can investigate this question again.
TV and most of web sites is a lie :)
Dmitry is right. They've been shot down.
Granted, one of the ones shot down *landed without a wing*.
Neither were Flankers... we would need a WW3 to break out to see ASFs falling out of the skies in numbers. "Never been shot down" is not much of an achievement for a fighter these days.
LeTrollFace21 Wrong, that was a training accident. Collided with another aircraft.
geez... this is an epic piece of art... i've got goosebumps all over my neck when those two flankers apeared :o keep up the good work!
By watching it I feel how much time you spent and worked hard making this awesome video! Thanks for the upload:)
Total visual pleasure! Fantastic piece of Artwork!
Simply perfect. I admire so much your work! I will be so happy if you start making some tutorials!
Great Video, You should get the F-15 flying home on one wing.
Music was nice, very good story telling, I like the imagery of man, machine, raw power and the synergy there of. Beautiful. I will use this as a template for my future creations. Very good stuff. Loved it.
Love it, it would be cool to see the Eagle fly home on one wing which really did happen in real life.
never been able to pull that off, I’m a relatively experienced DCS eagle driver
I would love to see a remake of this in 2.8
fantastic job. I like your angles and the cinematography. well done. :)
We really need some EyeCandy into DCS and i will believe this as real life...

Nice use of interstellar music!

Wow loving the interstellar music
The Flanker got killed because the pilot was to busy watching this video on his smart phone :D
awesome. i think to blury-burn out the black bars in realy bright moments is extreme clever. but for my taste it had to many explosions. less is more

I have been messing with the Interstellar soundtrack in my short film for school too, and I just kinna feel that the track you used is not exactlly fit for an opening buildup. But those are some great shots as always :D!
You can take all the time you need to make a video, they are very good !
epic video, BUT : Please record in 60 fps , makes it so much smoother and immersive !

Amazing video!!!
nice video like always, can you try to upload it with the 60 fps service from youtube ?
Wonderful music, great editing. You have a fantastic sense of framing and cinematography and timing. Really nice.

Thanks very much! I actually made this on my laptop so the frame rate was hard to keep past 25fps.
The music link is the wrong song.
Thomas Bergersen - Final Frontier (Interstellar Trailer #3 Music)
Love it!

If you have an nVidia GPU then you can use Shadowplay which won't lag at all.
That is interesting, I shall look into that thanks!135th Darksword
beautiful

Great pace and timing mate. How many tracks does this take to finalise?
Great video! here's just a pity that even in such videos, the U.S. and Russia conflict.
what is the name of the soundtrack at the end plzzzzzz ?
Anything going on with arma?
Jeez, I have a lot to learn, my DCS movies can not compare.
What video editing software do you use?
I love everything about this, but I kinda feel a slight bias to America when watching the video's...
Except not a single F-15 was ever shot down by another jet. 100:0
are you using a texture pack, or is it an after effect?
holy shit
Hahha ofcooource, democracy in tred
