Love C10's. My uncle picked up a 65 long bed. I gave him a 406 SBC. He added a lumpy hyd. roller cam. Keeping the patina look with steel wheels and hubcaps.

Buddy of mine (deceased now) had a 69 short bed that was originally a special order Custom Deluxe 396... swapped a 427 fully built motor into it, ladder bar suspension in the rear, 10 gallon AV gas fuel cell in the rear sitting next to a 200 shot. 600 on pump, 800 off the av gas... then 1,000 on spray. Had the Alaska 60ft record for quite a while. We did wheelies on the street in down town Anchorage AK on Fridays and Saturdays on "The Strip". Great Trucks.

Glad to see you back! I think a cool route for the project would be the "every man aproach," like if this was my project vehicle, what would I fix fist? For me it would be prioritizing the things that make the truck functional "running is better than restored" then I would focus on fixes/upgrade that need to be done but allow me to make the project my own (like the hubcaps).

Drivetrain & interior resto-mod. Exterior stays intact with exception of clear. Keep original sheet metal. Repaint bumpers, grill, cab roof
