  • How To Fix Volume Control Not Working Issue in Windows 11/10 [Solution]
Is the volume control not working on your Windows PC? In this tutorial learn how you can fix the volume control slider not working in Windows. The volume control wheel is an essential part of the Windows taskbar. Users can easily control the sound limit from there and go on with their work. However, the volume control in windows 10/11 stops working suddenly sometimes and does not respond. The wheel gets stuck at 100 or any other volume number and the users are unable to adjust it further.
Sometimes, your audio level won't change when you drag the volume bar’s slider. Sometimes, you'll notice that the volume gets stuck at a 100 percent level. Consequently, you can only adjust the volume with the sound controls in media players or browsers.
    Restart the Windows Explorer Process:
    1. Open Task Manager, which you can access with the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keyboard shortcut.
    2. Scroll down the Processes tab to find Windows Explorer.
    3. Select the Windows Explorer process.
4, Click Restart in the bottom right corner of the Processes tab.
Start or Restart Windows Audio Service:
    1. Press Win + S to open Windows Search.
    2. Type services into Windows Search and click on the Services result shown in the search tool.
    3. Double-click Windows Audio to open the settings for that service.
    4. Open the Startup type menu to select an Automatic option for the service.
    5. Select Windows Audio’s Start button if the service isn’t running. If Windows Audio is running, restart that service instead by clicking Stop and Start in the properties window.
    6. Press Apply and OK to set the new Windows Audio service options.
    Update the Audio Device Driver:
    1. First, press Win + X to open the Power User menu.
    2. Select the menu’s Device Manager shortcut.
    3. Click the arrow for extending the Sound, video and game controllers category.
    4. Right-click High Definition Audio to select its Update driver option.
    5. Select search automatically for drivers option. Exit Device Manager and restart your desktop/laptop.
