- This is the first video on the VanMediemen RF -85 where we start to prepare the car for the season after we bought it in Denmark last year. Here we have an overview and we re-build a starter shaft///
This is such a cool car. The Look. The story. Congratulations on another good purchase .
Hi Steve, your are a one man factory 👍
One of the things i like the most about your channel is that i never know what i'll be treated with for subject matter.😃 But i know i can always experience great photography and editing. Cheers from Eastern Canada and i hope your springtime brings you warm sunny weather. Thanks for all you do Steve!
nice work sir
Love your work, Steve 👍
Doesn’t look like old Rusty is ever going to see any love again, since this channel is turning into race car central...... I do appreciate the Commodore 64 reference tho.
Love your videos. Keep them coming. Very enjoyable to watch. Marc.
Gentlemann,start your engine 😉
Besides checking the tension on the oil pump belt, check for age and wear. I had one snap apart on my Royale years ago and and immediately dropped to zero oil pressure. I shut it off quick enough to save the engine from damage. The idiot light for loss of oil pressure is necessary I think. Maybe a smaller one though. You'll notice that before reading low prsseure on a guage.
Thats looks like a really good buy. Nice having one with such history.
👍
Nice car. Be worth trying to lift those oil pipes (
The oil pump is driven off the jack shaft, but what is the cable at the rear of the pump? Mechanical tach? Ha!, soon as you started it I saw Sir Jackie Stewart's face. Love that growl.
Great videos. Thank you for spending the time in producing them - I know the editing takes longer than the filming !!
Sir,Thank you for another wonderful video. Can you tell me where to find race parts for the Pinto Engines? Thank you very much.Jack.
Hi and thxs for your answers..responding to your questions : 1.6L VW BERTILS with MK 9 Hewland....what program you use in your computer for figuring the gears according to the tracks? Thxs in advance. I an learning a TON ( newbie)....
Perhaps you can use the pinion from another pinto starter motor?
Steve, you mentioned the low power of your lathe, with you experience, what minimal power would you recommend?
Steve, when are you going back to the Formula Konig?
Why don't you focus on making one racecar as fast as possible (and thus your own skills) ? Seems too much your time and attention is divided over too many cars. Or did you buy the other ones to smarten up and sell?
