I remember a time when, on random uploads, i was asked to show proofs of permissions before being able to monetize further videos, and i've always given those proofs (and they were always accepted).
Now my channel has been demonetized due to "duplication" by a bot, without giving me the chance to appeal the decision, show my permissions, or being told how to ACTUALLY fix the problem (or which specific video it's causing it).
It's true that i'm uploading third party contents, but it is also true that i have permissions, or that at least the contents are from companies that have proven to be very youtuber friendly.
Speaking with creator support was useless and shameful (i told them about the case of David Firth too, with tweet link, they completely ignored me), after understanding i was not going to accept their lies and bot-like answers (12 emails discussion), they closed my ticket ignoring my last email, and now i cannot contact them anymore.
I'm trying with team youtube on Twitter now (always citing david firth's case), it's my last resort, if i reapply i'm surely going to be rejected (as a lot of people), you know, if they don't point out the problem, you cannot fix it, expecially if it is a "supposed" mistake (supposed by a bot).
Even if i did a mistake, they should, at least, tell me what i have to do to repair, what actions i have to take, what explanations i have to give or specifically point out the videos that are causing the problem.
My channel it's in perfect standing since 3 years: no copyright strikes no community guidelines strikes.
I only have some ID matches, that are officially and absolutely allowed (basically the copyright owner of the video get notified that i uploaded his content, he ENTIRELY monetizes that video, and more than this he has the power to take it down or strike me if he wishes to do so. I never had a problem with those.)
A LOT of channels are beign hit by this issue, and their request for help to the support on email and on twitter are just being ignored or given copy-pasted botlike answers.
Please spread the video and the hashtag as much as you can, if we make enough noise they will not be able to ignore us anymore.

I got the same issue same exact thing going on!!!!!! Since everyone going through this we all should raise hell at youtube they have to respond and fix this cuz it aint fair if they wanna act like this then take down every youtuber

+Nox Exactly the same things also happened to me, everything on my channel is 100% self-made from scratch, wrote to support but kept getting copied rules I "might" had broken. Learned some new things watching your video though so thanks for that. Please give an update if you succeed somehow and I'll gladly do the same.
The irony here is, UA-cam is only helping make services like Patreon flourish while they give up all that sweet sweet ad money.
Just got hit myself despite creating original animations of songs I have permission to monetize. Currently talking with YT, I'll let you know how it goes!

Currently i'm trying on twitter, but withouth success: they just reply to me with one ready-made answer (completely useless and not tied to what i say) and then they just ignore my further statements -__-
Maybe they will listen to you since you have a lot of subs...

how did you get into contact with YT? it's near impossible to find a way through on my other channel I have 10k+ subs
We really need to have some laws to regulate large platforms like YT. Since unlike any random internet forum with 1000 or 2000 user accounts, YT can negatively affect the life of many people they should not be allowed to do whatever they want. Big platforms like YT and Facebook should be mandated by law that you must be able to get specific response from human, not just generic from bot. Yes, it can be paywalled to avoid abuse of that feature but it must be available and enforced by the law.
I got demonetized for duplicate content as well most of my videos are screenshots and live footage which most people do.. I contacted youtube and they said check for tv and audio visual also check to see if the music in your video is copyrighted or something. I think that may fix your issue and they said something about gameplay

Probably they gave you the standard bot-like answer, they say that to all, but it's just wrong:
We don't have to check anything, it's their bugged bot that should point out what's wrong and give us the chance to show them if we have permissions or not.
Instead they just demonetize you without any chance to appeal, and if you ask for help, they just give you a ready-made answer and then ignore you.
The only way to end this it's to get manual review by an actual human... but very few people are being able to obtain that (usually big channells with huge fanbase).

You tube sucks, they see people use it, and videos get out to people, and that's an issue for them, if your message or videos are freedom Oriented. So they block you. They are POS.
OMFG this just happened to our channel and all of our videos are all of our content. We emailed UA-cam back and forth 5X and asked the exact same question, what was wrong and how to fix it?! They gave me NO ANSWERS or clarity. Any updates for this?!

The only new thing is that they openly started to help bigger channels on twitter, for them, they fix the issue in one minute.

You then embed your YT videos on the site, and ads (from Chitika) are displayed on the page with your video. You earn 100% of the revenue from ads on your video, the site only makes money if viewers visit the homepage, or through donations. Bear in mind the site is under construction, it's still buggy and needs a few updates (coming soon, pending funding or income generated by the site).
they hit me with this too. I do 3d/Source Film maker animations. I have to wait till October 26th to reapply. Its annoying, because i got permission for most of my content. the other half is copyrighted but allowed to stay up. What gives. I was 93% away from my Payment threshold too. I do scene recreations from movies and tv. I'm not going to delete my hard work.
+MLPDethDealr32 I'm sorry for you buddy, i reapplied since a few days, but i don't have big expecations: they usually reject reapplications, mostly because they don't even tell you what's wrong (if there is actually anything wrong, very often NOT likely) so we don't even know what we should fix...
I deleted some videos in the hope i guessed the right one (because since they say anything, and they often wrongly demonetize, we are exactly talking about guessing/divination) but i regret that now... i had permissions for those, they should ask if we have permissions before acting like this.

Karl Pilkington Quotes I don't know if it's normal... If you are still able to contact the support you can give it a try (in my case it was a shame, they even lied to me among the other things), otherwise you can try twitter, but it's not any better...
