Dave è fenomenale, uno dei più grandi in assoluto, ha un tocco ed un controllo delle dinamiche impeccabili. Se posso darti un consiglio, se ti piace Weckl e la batteria in generale, dai un'occhiata ad Akira Jimbo. Guarda i suoi video didattici ed ascolta la sua musica in generale, dai grandissimi Casiopea, passando per Jimsaku, a molteplici collaborazioni con maestri del jazz-fusion. Akira è un maestro al pari di Weckl, e sa fare molte cose addirittura al di sopra di Dave stesso. Questa performance era soprattutto focalizzata su Weckl.
È un genio assoluto. È solo, semplicemente, un genio. Noi siamo fortunati a vivere nella sua epoca e poterlo vedere dal vivo. Fra l'altro è una persona di indole molto gentile.
